I also agree. There is a lot of name calling. Just because a person doesn't agree with a poster or their views they are called names. It's so many posts that are taken down on a daily bases. And some posters continuously go back and forth with another poster. It can be 10 pages and 6 pages are the posters going back and forth. LOL

@JYWilliams   Thank You!

I find it sad that since the Mods are not here all the time. There seems to be a few that just love to start on people.  If you have nothing to do but come here to see who you can belittle,  or not let people have an opinion, then I suggest you seek help and get off the boards.

This was a great place to post at one time but seeing the snarky remarks is pathetic.

People have a right to their opinions even if you disagree with them.

You find it "sad" about activity on a social media forum?🙄

@ellaphant  Of course you missed the point.   Why am I not surprised?

Have to say I agree with the OP on this. People will get blasted simply for posting an opinion about something. Examples I'm referring to are when someone posts they don't care for a particular style or designer on Q, some will go ballistic and take it personally. It's like they think you're insulting them if they like it and you don't. I don't get that. I don't expect others to like everything I do and vice versa.

To bring this up and discuss it is pot stirring.

@KKJ  I think there is a difference between an opinion, and a mean opinion.  Yes, they are both opinions. You can dislike a style, brand of clothes, etc.  I think where it goes bad, is becomes a personal attack on vendor, host or anyone who likes that item.

there is a difference in saying, " I don't care for that style at all, especially on me...it's too frilly, and not in my price point."  Etc.

than saying

"that is the ugliest dress ever, anyone who wears that has to be stupid, I hate the vendor, who would pay that much for that ******, I don't know.  and it looks like a pile of doo doo on the host. "

I chose the above example as it has been said, lol.

but I agree, it is forum. Posters love to talk fashion. What they love , what they don't like and definatley what doesn't work for them.  That's the purpose of the forum. It's just when it gets personal, hurtful, turns into hate-in that I don't care for. That's my opinion about opinions for the opinionated to opine on. Lol

I appreciate what you're saying @shoekitty.  Guess I missed the posts that said  "anyone who wears that has to be stupid".

I didn't miss the point. As I said many Q Posters have unusual attachments to everything about Q. Hosts, vendors, host vacations, hosts schedules, where hosts live, looking up their homes on line. Feeling "sad" about a forum??

I didn't miss a thing. To me, it's all VERY weird.

@ellaphant I don't think it's necessarily an "unusual attachment" to a Q host.  I have asked on the boards at times when a certain host has been gone awhile as have others. Don't see anything wrong with that. Mainly curiosity on my part and also I have no life.  LOL

Some of the comments on this forum seem to simply reflect the climate of the country right now...we all need to lighten up, stop being judgemental ( there is a difference between judgement and opinion), accept differences even if we don't like them and get over ourselves...this is a shopping chanel forum for goodness sakes!  Have fun and enjoy it!
