I never cared for her on QVC and so certainly have no interest in following her to her supposed next adventure... Her sing-song presentations, somewhat nasal vocal quality, frequent contortions so she could pat herself on the back, her often curt and abrupt comments and what seemed to be her occasional not so veiled potshots at other hosts never played well with me. She often liked to tout herself as a 'straight shooter', but she was quite adept at waxing poetic in her own low-key manor.... Frankly, I wasn't sorry to see her go.

Some people just have a knack for something yet have no official credentials.  Others have the credentials but are not gifted in their supposed area of experrtise.  I have seen homes where the owner is a "designer" or "decorator" and thought their spaces were unremarkable.  I have also been in homes in which the owner hired one of these professionals and thought their rooms were quite uninspired.  Some of the best spaces I have ever seen were created by totally "unqualified" creative people.

Off topic here, but I love your writing style.  Obviously I don't know you, but because of your avatar (which I've mentioned before that I love), I picture you holding a cigarette in one hand and a glass of wine in the other as you delight us with your comments.  I picture you as being quite bored with it all, but figure you'll enlighten us anyway.  hahaha

I usually agree with your posts in all categories, which may be partially why I get such a kick out of them.  I also love the pictures you post in the Home forum!
