Real Bad PR For QVC During The Holidays

Curious as to what is happening at QVC. The Russell Stover Advent Calender orders were a complete disaster and the Valerie Parhill fresh Christmas wreaths not being delivered. This is clearly having a big impact at corporate only because I noticed that on  David's show he stressed the fact that your orders will be delivered on time. Someone must have the scoop....

@StopTalking ...while I do understand what you are saying, these are unprecedented times.  I am sure many companies are having problems, not only the Q.  So, hopefully, those of us who ordered items from any place of business will receive them on time and in great shape.

After all, we can hope for the best and just be contented with staying safe, healthy and blessed.

Re: Real Bad PR For QVC During The Holidays

QVC does not ship any food; its shipped by vendors.  So whatever happened was the fault of Russell Stover.   It sounds as though they had insufficient product to fill their orders.

You've already started another post on this subject and griped about it.  Get over it!  Stuff happens.

The wreath deliveries were described as "to be delivered the week of (date chosen)" not a specific date.

No worries, just head to the Russell Stover website...a 48oz box of Assorted Bloopers is $19.99 & a Peanuts Countdown Christmas Calendar is $7.64. 🎅

I don't order anything from QVC for the holidays. In years past I had several items they said 'GUARANTEED' by Christmas that were late. So, no more holiday orders for me.

QVC usually has trouble with fullfilling orders during the holidays even prepandemic.

They continue to sell and sell based on the promise orders can be filled.

@StopTalking   In my opinion Covid is a bad excuse because why was the customers not notified that there would be a delay and why or the order cannot be filled?  Instead we are left wondering until the date passes and we have nothing.  That is why I contacted Rusell Stover directly.   QVC has no excuse to not notify the customers.

I can be understanding if something is coming late...but they just let the day pass that I was supposed to receive it by with no emails.

They have it 'in process' or 'preparing your order' for weeks so you can't even cancel and buy something else...

Even if the delay or cancelation is due to a vendor production problem,  QVC absolutely should be proactive with informing shoppers about the issue.

It's likely out of QVC's control, but they have the sales agreement with the vendor and it was sold via their programming, so they absolutely have a professional responsibility to disclose a situation of which I'm sure they're well aware.

@StopTalking On your other Russell Stover complaint post you called another poster obnoxious for giving what I thought an important message.  Your posts are mostly negative so I can see why you may not relate.

As for VPH wreaths, every year a delivery WEEK is stated not the exact date.
