I think what we are seeing in present day QVC is the cutthroat business of sales. It’s a hard business to be in. You are only as good as your last sale, and the hosts know that. So, they have to get out there and try every trick in the book.

Some work and some don’t.

Kim’s line is a moneymaker for QVC, so they are going to let her do whatever she has to do to sell. The host is just there to go along for the ride.

BOTH of them are UNWATCHABLE - immediate change of channel when Rachael is hosting and when Kim is on with ANY host.

Now for a guy's perspective...I see Rachel having a fantastic time with Kim (and Kim with Rachel as well!). I love it when they dance and go off on their life-story tangents. It's good television! Kim is an inspiration and Rachel seems like she would be a true-blue buddy. Great laugh to boot!

You know, I still like watching Kim but I find that I get tired of "this won't last" this is not going to make it" "people are going to buy multitudes of this"etc. It's kinda like she's full of herself.

Yeah, but I don't think I've seen any vendor as full of herself as Martha Stewart. I remember at the end of one of her shows the host said how many of one of her items were left and Martha responded kinda annoyed with  "Well I'm surprised those didn't sell out right away", or something like that.  I don't buy her stuff.

I agree.

I think that is the sign of a cheaply made item, when they don't have the same pattern or detail on the back that is on the front.  I don't buy stuff like that.

Sandra is "calming"?  Not in my opinion. She's one I can't watch.
