Your description is perfect. The host in question strikes me as a nice person but she comes across as a a star struck teen seeing The Beatles or Elvis.

While we enjoy watching cooking programs regardless of network, I do change the channel when this duo is on.

I didn't even turn them on.  I cannot stand Rachel Ray and Jane isn't much better.  They make me tired with all the constant fast talking.

Jane does go over the top with the gushing over RR.  I can't watch.  But then, I don't watch hardly any of QVC any more.   Same old stuff over and over, which has been discussed quite a bit on these boards.

I think Amy Stran and Jane Tracy are probably very nice people, but I can no longer watch their hyper, loud, fast talking way of presenting. 😳

On this subject, I find all the IT Cosmetic reps speaking so fast I can't enjoy the shows at all so I change the channel.  They all say exactly the same "speech" and the speed in which they speak is way too rapid.
