@faygi.  You don't have to "use" Facebook. Just google Mary's name and Facebook and it will come up. Their Facebook pages are open to all.

I admit I get lost after the quoting expands to more than 3 but partly because the font grays out and is unreadable; I am not putting that much effort into deciphering who said what. And when it’s just a cyber yelling match that has gone from “on topic” to “right” fighting, I quit reading.

 

That said, quoting does help the reader follow the conversation when the thread is lively. If you write more than a few words, 5 other posts could have jumped ahead of yours and now without a quote no one knows who you are replying to!
