@Spurt like you, I mostly wrap with paper but sometimes bags work but most of the time I would need a bigger bag than the majority of what they offered so I passed.

Well I have 2 leapers in the cat family!  One of them uses me as a ladder to get to the height so she can then leap the rest of the way.  the other one will leap to the top of the bookcase, the buffet, the door.  I wiped one them right off the top of the back door because I didn't realize a cat had jumped up and was laying on there when I came back in.  It was upsetting for both of us - thank heavens I didn't hurt her legs in the door.  Now I look up before I shut the door so there isn't any place safe for candles. these days I just open the lid and let the scent permeate the house w/o lighting them.

Yes, I can see using the bags for that occasional odd shaped give or something very large, but that'sa rare need, and if I do have that unique gift that won't do wrapped in a box then I will go to Hobby Lobby and purchase ONE that will fit my gift.......

Wow! your kitties sound very athletic.......(I had a tortiseshell that was a big leaper/jumper---shed jump from the floor to the top of the large entertainment center in one jump!   My sis bught her kitty one of the cat trees and he loves it....he has to leap from the back of the recliner in order to reach the top tier of his cat tree (which my sister calls "his kingdom).............he likes to sleep in the top tier too....sounds like your kitties would like that too and eliminate the need to use you as a trampoline or ladder ...................
