@RespectLife SOMEBODY pays FedEx, UPS or the post office to get it to your house. Right? Guess what, that is figured into what the company has to sell it for. Shipping is part of what you pay.

"Free" shippings means you get that much discount. It is simply a discount the same as $10 off is a discount. It SOUNDS better than 8 percent off. Example a $65 item, an 8 percent discount is $5.20. So free shipping in that case is less than a 10 percent discount. If they advertised $5 off it doesn't sound as tempting as free shipping.

So if you buy several items, total up the shipping and see what percentage of the overall cost it is. That's your discount. Same thing.

QVC gets a huge discount on shipping, so the charge you see isn't what they pay to ship it to begin with.

Oh gosh, of course they get a huge discount!

Our company gets a discount that is no where near what Q gets.

My word, have you tried sending something yourself these days? The prices are outrageous.

If I try to return 1 item to Q paying it myself, the cost is several bucks more than the prepaid label. I recently spent over $8.50 to return a single bra to Soma.

I never get coupons OR discounts with Q.....so any time my item price remains the EXACT same AND the shipping is taken off.....that's free.

I don't care what % it is or whatever you want to label it....but I didn't pay one extra penny to ship it to me.

QVC ate that OR the vendor....I don't care who...but zippo shipping cost to me.

If I would have ordered the next day, that pan set would have cost me $10+ more.

Discount, free shipping....whatever.....but the amount reduced was based on the shipping charge shown for that set.
