@Mande4

Yep, your right---both quality and sizing are hit or miss...mostly miss these days, and then there's QVC's prices, which keep going up, and in most cases they arent competitive ....PLUS their $11 "try me fee" for returns which is costly too ($6.95 return fee label, plus loss of original shipping)

I used to buy a lot of clothing from QVC but no more.---its a rare occasion now.  There are brands in other categories that I still like that are reasonably priced and I do purchase from QVC....

I have had good luck ordering online from Dillards they have expensive clothing, but if you look around their website theres reasonable priced clothing too---$29 to $39 range...and they have fantastic sales!!!  Macy's is another good place to shop, the Karen Scott brand is affordable and equivalent to Denim & Co yet good quality and cheaper too......  Ive found good and bad at JCP, Kohls.....GOOD LUCK!

Re: Quality not the same anymore

I still own and wear several clothing items from D&Co and Dialogue from many, many years ago.  I wear two D&C jean jackets from 20 years ago!   High quality, well-made, will last me years of machine washings.  Every QVC clothing item (except for one MS piece) I received in recent years was pure junk.  One blouse wasn't even sewn together at the yoke seam - how did that get thru Quality Control?  When I noticed I was returning more than I kept, I quit ordering from QVC.   I agree with you that Q's quality has gone downhill.

Re: Quality not the same anymore

I've just about given up on Denim & Co. The fit is all off for me.  Tight in the arms, huge across my chest or vice versa.  I never know it it's going to fit right.  I stopped buying Denim & Co pants for a while now.  I don't know why.  I'm the same size.  I have Denim & Co items from years ago still in my closet that fit perfect.  I have gotten SG crop pants and Kim Gravel tops this year and I'm please with them.

Re: Quality not the same anymore

Q  quality no longer there

V   value, no longer there

C  confenience.  not there either.

Received a item in a crushed box with a hole in it.  Still all sitting on the floor.  Took pictures but no way to send them to customer service.

Don't know if all the parts are even there.   Just a thin piece of buble wrap in the box.

Did live chat with customer service.  If I  return it I have to scrounge around in the

back of a story to find a box or purchase one  at :lowes or home depot and packing

material if the post office or UPs wont accept the box it came in.

Cost $5.50 5o ship to me and more to return it.    NO QVC

Been shopping since 2000.... lately what I have received looks awful.  Clothing use

to come in clear plastic bags folded with tissue.  Now just thrown in their shipping bags  clothing looks like  from the bottom of someone;s closet.

Same here. I've returned so many things. Susan Graver, Denim and Co, Clark's. It really seems like the prices have gone up and the quality down!

Re: Quality not the same anymore

It can be difficult ordering clothes from various places on line.

I shop at QVC because I'm pretty sure the item is going to fit.

Recently I've been going back in my closets finding clothes from several years ago.

They all came from QVC.  They are well made and beautiful.

Everything is real leather.  The zippers are first quality.

The difference is like night and day.

I really miss some of the designers from the past.

I'm sure I not the only person to realize the difference in the quality; but also the imagination that went into designing it.

Yep, but QVC's  decline has been going on for more than just a couple of years. It has been a steady decline for many, many years. I don't purchase clothes from qvc any more. From cheap fabrics that don't hold up, to poor sizing, bad designs, high prices. Nothing is what it was, not for the better either.  The Q doesn't seem to want to fix the problems it has. Problems that the customer has been telling qvc about for years.  This lack of caring by qvc is showing up in their sales. If and when the q's ship crashes it will be of their own doing.

@Mande4  Agree. Denim and co used to be good quality fabric. Now the fabric is " almost threadbare" when you buy it new. I am passing from now on.

Re: Quality not the same anymore

Denim & Co seems to have some size differences, especially on their clearance items. If there's an item that has arrived undersized they need to say so!  We'd know then to size up if possible.  Ive received several clothing items that were way off on sizing, so I had to return them.  It happened with Clarks sandals also.
