Just finished reading two other posts on these forums about QVC losing 15 million dollars in the third quarter and it was just before Christmas, I read where shares of the company were way, way down. I find it fascinating that the company seemingly does not read these forums, or take suggestions, ideas or thoughts about changes that might help them. I realize there  is a contact at the bottom of the page, but I think  most people will post here before they will do that. Things are discussed here, ( and sometimes hotly), about everything from annoying hosts, to poor shipping practices, offensive presentations/Hosts. A gentleman not long ago posted about QVC not carrying many men's items and that got pretty hotly discussed, but I agree with him. Are men the majority of viewers? I don't think so and yet for example at Christmas several of my family members said they would have ordered gifts for their husbands from QVC if they had presented anything. When you are holding on by your fingernails, why would you not try presenting some "Guy" things? And on a different note, how come QVC doesn't offer Outdoors items? The market for Outdoorsmen is enormous as more and more women are fishing, hiking and hunting. Kayaks, canoes, tents and camping gear, fishing gear, maybe a line of cabin decor and linens? There is so much that could be offered and yet it seems to be the same items for TSV over and over, the same shows hawking the same items. The powers that be at QVC evidently have decided to put all their eggs into one basket and that basket has been the "Over 50 and Fabulous" campaign. But reading these forums, I think it's safe to say that while there are some that like it, most do not. Now, they are turning their attention to Social Media and Podcasts, Influencers and that is all fine, but in doing so they are kissing the "Old guard" goodbye as most of the very elderly don't use those venues....and those are BUYING Customers. I have a hard time understanding that logic when the ship is listing badly and that is guaranteed money coming in. Change is good but sometimes a blending of new and old work best. Reinventing "New" shows with the same tired Host is not something that I would keep sinking money into. The same products, the same old phrases and the same Hosts only show that QVC Customers are savvy enough to see right through that. I hope they can figure it all out, but right now it sure looks iffy.

They need some new products desperately. Look at the Pom Pom London bags from the other day. Brand new and sold fast. Because it wasn't the same dozen vendors. Heck I even ordered one from the Pom Pom site and had it today. It took 3 days to get from London to Phoenix. If I ordered from QVC I'd still be waiting for it most likely. They need to revamp everything top to bottom. There are only so many computers, vacuums, lock and lock, temptations, D&C, Susan Graver, Kim Gravel pants and jackets a person can wear. Most of their clothing doesn't fit the lifestyle of the west. Polyester, scuba wear, doesn't work in 110 degree heat. They spend way to long on the TSV.  All day gardening shows, cooking, clothing just bore people and you lose a lot of the audience because they aren't interested in whatever the event of the day.

@Hopein24  QVCs several facebook pages are where the majority of customers post positive/negative comments.

I understand that this forum is not read per se by the Q but they have programs set up to tell them when religious/political or other posts they want closed/deleted by the social team.  Or when another poster reports a post.

And like you said there is a feedback link at bottom of this page.

@Hopein24 , I think you're overstating the feedback QVC gets from here.  At any given time there are approx 1000 people, most of which don't post, just read.  That's a drop in the bucket to the 80 million homes they can be on via tv and millions more they reach on social media.

In addition, the overwhelming majority of posters here are female, most between age 50-90 and many are retired.   Those demographics are very narrow to be statistically relevant.   I will also point out here that there are numerous posters who aren't here for QVC or shopping s they proudly proclaim they don't shop here or haven't in many years.  Those opinions are irrelevant to them.

I also think rumors of QVCs demise are greatly exaggerated.  They will evolve into something different that many here won't like since there are many statements about "not doing social media".  The Q will be fine.

And you just pointed out why there aren't many well known brands on QVC or they're only here with exclusive products.  Assuming you hadn't purchased a Pom Pom London bag before, you saw it here but ordered one from the brand website.  That's a net negative for QVC.

I recently discovered Pom Pom bags and was thinking about ordering one but wanted to wait for reviews since I knew QVC was having a TSV. I bought from the website because they had more selection of colors and styles plus super fast shipping.

I stopped watching (except a few shows I record) because of the monotony....products and hosts.

That has resulted in less input from me about what's being discussed. It seems all the bit-hing and complaining here hasn't changed a thing in the 30 yrs. I did watch Q.

Hosts and vendors come and go. The shows are on constant repeat all day long and are stale. Also the wait for shipping is ridiculous when other sites have it at my door in 3-4 days.
