I've noticed this about Lands End too. I used to receive things within a week and now it's taking 14-18 days. I've never received an email about a shortage of employees. I wonder what they pay the people who handle shipping and returns. 

I saw a sign yesterday advertising $11 an hour so I expect that sign to be up for a while. Who can survive on that, especially after taxes are deducted.

I have no problems with shipping. My items arrive either on time or earlier than scheduled.

   Delivery times hit both extremes for me.

I just ordered from QVC late afternoon of Oct 12, and received it in the AM on the 15th. And that was standard ship, not expedited.

Sam's Club, Wal-Mart can be just that quick, but not always.

I waited 2 weeks for a sweatshirt from Sam's. Very atypical. I usually get their shipments in 2-5 days.

Worse when you wait 3 weeks and then just get the top  part of a set and then they tell you the bottom is on advanced order!!!

The shipping situation was a huge problem before covid. I started shopping here in 2006 when items all arrived in 3-5 days. Now it's closer to 7-14 days. And as one other person pointed out, shipping costs are higher, service slower. So I can't really shop here anymore because I can't rely on the shipping. Recently they have been selling items that aren't even in stock, then not allowing cancellation. So I can't. As for the new CEO, his first strategy to "fix things" was too eliminate these forums. I find that quite curious.
