My son was born November 19, 1986. Had a 26 inch TV in my bedroom. Holding him while he slept lying in my bed I vividly remember watching the first show. It was interesting but said to myself when it was over this isn't going to work. Would have never realized I would become the part of the phenomenon known as the QVC addict.

I thought they celebrated in the summer?

Anyway today is my brother's birthday too, he's a bit older than QVC and I'm more excited about his. Just sayin.

I had QVC on a lot yesterday for background noise and i never heard them mention this once. I would have thought they would have used this as a sales opportunity.

WOW have things changed since then. Used to have quality and unique items. Now just plain boring. No customer service and shipping is a joke. I remember when hosts were very professional. Now if I do a quick check hosts are drinking wine in their PJ's. I used to look forward to shows that interested me, but I do a 3 second check now and then. Unless it's a TweakD or if they ever do it again a FAB TSV I'm out. Very sad from what was a very good company.

Founder's Day is every June 13th. QVC's Birthday is November 24th.
