LOL!!!! Global icon? Really? Unless you knew her from a home shopping channel, or maybe nowadays on an infomercial, she's really just a salesperson (no different to me than a salesperson in Walmart or Target, as you mentioned). Being on a US shopping channel hardly makes her a global personality. Yes, she's traveled to other countries. So have I and probably quite a few other posters here, but that doesn't make her, me or any other person here a global icon. What a joke!
