I buy food from QVC for special occassions. I know it is expensive, but when company is coming I want to spend more time with them than in the kitchen so I splurge. The last two times I have purchased food from QVC I have had problems. Mostly it was when I ordered an advanced sale item that was shipped way before it was supposed to ship. This stresses me out since I have to pay for it sooner than I wanted to. Then there was the time I ordered and somehow found myself with a double order (long story). Of course customer service just runs me around in circles - that causes the stessful part. You would thnk I had learned my lesson after this happened twice - but of course I didn't! I went ahead and ordered the Kansas City Ham that was a TSV for Easter. So for over a week the order status has been "advanced sale". Very early this morning (4 AM) I check again because it should be shipping soon if it is going to be here by Easter. Now the order status says "contact cs"! Well at 4 AM there is no customer service so I have to wait until they open. The whole time I am worried that I have to run out and buy something else for Easter dinner at the last minute.

I finally get to customer service and they tell me my credit card did not go through. Now this is the same credit card I always use and pay in full every 30 days - no reason to not go through! I give the cs rep the same exact credit card number and wait as she puts it in. Of course it goes right through! Crisis averted right? But what if I did not check my order status page and just waited for the ham to arrive. QVC never sent me an e-mail or a phone call to let me know the sale had not gone through (through no fault of mine)! Should I have just waited for the ham and then have nothing for Easter Dinner?

I'm sorry this is so long - I am just so stressed out and mad at myself for falling for this nonsense a third time. There has to be another company that sells this kind of food and I will have to look for it for the next hoilday dinner!!!
