My niece was watching QVC with me over the weekend and she thinks that there should be a QVC for Kids network with clothes, toys, learning things, candy (LOL) etc. I know there are kid's items here and there around the holidays but I thought this was a great idea.....even just a weekly show. What do you all think?

No!

I can't imagine a lot of kids would be interested in watching a shopping channel.

In my opinion, not in the kids best interest.

I think we don't need to make American kids more materialistic than the already are.

Now that is a terrible idea.  There’s already too much advertising directed at children.

Logistically, it would have to be tied to the parents' account and then there would be too much of an opportunity for unauthorized purchases. Better to let the adults order, and, as you said, there are a lot of toys, etc. presented during the holidays. I can't see a kids' clothes line, but maybe online? They have a few men's things online, I think. Or, did she mean just a show with kid's things, not a formal network?

Not until kids have their own credit cards!

Whether people want to admit it or not, but tv shopping is primarily for the older crowds.  People are used to shopping either online or via apps and lastly in store.

She meant a show more so than a network and it was more for parents / grandparents to have all of the kid's stuff that QVC sells in one place at one time.

i think it is a great idea to do some weekly shows or even a "kids day" of programming......great chance to find gifts for them for all occasions. you have a smart niece. Smiley Wink

when my kids were younger they saw things on qvc that they wanted. i would buy them and put them away for gifts and/or give it to them "just because...." now they are qvc shoppers, although not anywhere near the amount i purchase.
