@Imaoldhippie   Yes.  I'd say the same for all of us.

Carolyn Returns to QVC!

[ Edited ]

Of course it's a "return" to QVC.

You turn on the TV and there she is.

She has returned to the QVC airwaves.

What else would it be called....a comeback?

The thing is Carolyn is back as a vendor not a host. Let's just say Carolyn also never bad mouthed QVC or acted like she needed sympathy. She wasn't begging people for money or grifting. U see what happens when u conduct yourself professionally and her popularity has QVC asking her to come back. She was a host for almost 20 years. So being a vendor is great because it gives u so much flexibility.

Re: QVC did Carolyn a favor

[ Edited ]

I'm not a gardener so I'm not interested in these products and didn't watch her show. I liked her on Denim & Co.

I wish Carolyn well.

Regarding returning to a business that terminated you....

I lost one of my teaching jobs due to budget cuts at a private school. I was an experienced teacher at the time, but I was the lowest person in terms of seniority on the staff so I was pink slipped. The parents and students weren't happy. Parents complained but nothing changed. I stayed totally out of it, and I left on good terms.

Anyway, I found a job at another school for several years until that school closed. And what do you think happened? The school that terminated me wanted to hire me back. Yes, I returned, and finished my career there until I retired. You never know what opportunities life may bring you. I'm a firm believer in, "Don't burn any bridges."

Best Wishes to All!

One door closes, another opens.  I think that's true for Carolyn.  I think people forget that the show host thing is only a job.  People lose jobs all the time.  But Caroline has partnered with Roberta's and she now an owner.  When you own something, you have freedom and independence.  I think great things are in store for her new company.

QVC did her a favor?  Maybe they just realized their mistake.  Welcome back Carolyn, so happy to have someone who explains everything their selling so well and also is so kind.

She isn't a show host!  She does not work for QVC.  She's a vendor.  She owns her company and like other vendors, she sells products on QVC.

@D Kay   I believe she and Dan were aware firing them was a business decision based on details we are not privy to and should not be, imo.

Carolyn returns because it's a good business decision for her;  She knows it's the platform she understands well, but more important I believe is that she feels it's the one place she has a built-in clientele.

Only time will tell, but if we enjoy seeing her AND have reason to buy what she offers, her decision will be good for her. She's a skilled gardner and a great presenter.  I wish her well right here.

Hope everyone who misses her would keep her on the air by really doing some shopping.
