I wasn't home , so they left message. I left a review for the latest Super Smile  duo. It burned like crazy , even 24 hours my gums were sensitive for contact. I thought no big deal , but it was just not the normal sensetivity. Then i read al the reviews , they said the same but some were worse. She said she had read my concerns and they are investigating and refunded to my acount. I rarely review , because everybody is different but , i didn't want anyone else to waste their money and experience this. I emailed the company and surprisingly got a response that day. I don't know what they put in this but i knew it wasn't normal . I had used this before with no problems. Anyway thanks QVC , great experience.

Honestly , it could have been a lot worse , but i knew it wasn't a normal sensetivity , which most have experienced at least once in our lifetime. Like i said i don't write many reviews , and even if it is a rare bad review , i always know everybody is different , i never try to make product worse than it really is.

My gums got burned, peeled by a Smileactives gel, the kind that you add to your toothpaste, that boosts whitening. I threw it out and then read many reviews that said the same thing. Now I see the product is gone and has been gone for quite some time. It was terrible stuff.

It was my first order and I was excited to try it. I noticed the stinging in my mouth the second day and by the third day I was concerned. I stopped the rinse and I tried to just use the toothpaste.Again I felt the mild burning sensation. I don't know if it was the Calprox or another ingredient but I did see as I rinsed my mouth, pink water and I quit. I rinsed with salt water and the soreness left after the second day. I threw the whole package in the garbage and cancelled AD. These messages made me believe that others felt the same way and I appreciate the honesty.

I have been using Supersmile/The Works.  This is the one that it is all in one tube.  I'm just about out and called QVC but they didn't have any information about getting this back in.

Original poster MW in Iowa - thank you for posting this, my Super Smile duo has

been killing my mouth. I thought it was my imagination, but after reading your post

I'm not crazy. I think they've changed the formula. I rinse rinse rinse and swish so

aggressively multiple times after brushing, I know it can't be that there is any residue of the two toothpastes in my mouth.

I think the first time , it didn't seem to bother , and like you, the second time , it must be me , but i knew it wasn't just a normal sensetivity. I think the new powder is fine.. Call cutomer service they should refund you , because it has been brought to their attention on this item number. and all of the bad reviews. I also contacted company. I never bother , but i thought this might take a problem product off market so they can investigate , i would love to know what this had in it to cause such a problem , felt so good to use my cheap toothpaste , LOL.

@MW in Iowa. Do you have the item number for the toothpaste? I want to make sure I don't get that version.

Years ago a Perricone neck product burned my skin and had bought an array from his line.  Called and they refunded all of the products and said to discard.
