Why is it when an item is on clearance or they are trying to sell it big time the reviews are missing, even though it shows there are reviews for the item?

I'm finding it happens all the time.   What QVC needs to know is I won't buy an item unless I read the reviews first.  By not putting them in, I have no interest nor trust in what they are selling.

It's a dis-service to customers who spent their money and who took the time to review their purchase to hide them so they can sell more items if those reviews are negative.

If QVC is selling an item, they either stand behind it or they need to remove it from their inventory.

Don't sell me junk so you can make a profit off me.

I buy a lot of clothing, always check reviews and, unless it's a brand new item, never find reviews missing.  It could be the browser you're using, especially if its Safari where there are problems with its interface with QVC.  Try using a different browser temporarily.

@Ladygray  I have experienced reviews not showing up, but sometimes they just have not loaded correctly. Wait a bit and look again, or try entering the name of the item instead of the item number. Also, I noticed they don't always show up if I'm clicking on an item from my wish list. If all my efforts fail, then I don't buy.

I use Firefox, it's not a browser problem as they show up for some items but not for some that are currently on air or on sale.

I've tried it on my PC with Firefox and my smartphone.   Same thing.

If they are trying to unload items, and they have a lot of negative reviews, they don't want to share them.  I find it a lot with DMQ and electronic items.

@Ladygray-  I too have found this happens, especially with on-air items that are on sale.   I use a Mac and an iPad and it happens on both electronic items.   This isn't something new either.  I've been shopping at QVC for years and it's been going on for a long time.   It doesn't always change my mind about purchasing, but it does help to know if there is an issue that more than one person experienced.

I never buy shoes for instance unless there are good reviews.  Jewelry is personal in taste, unless it's a mechanical issue with the piece.   Many times I'll get something home and hate it and people raved.   So it all depends.

But I agree, the reviews are not always provided even when they say there are so many available.

@Black Cat Back    I bet you're using Safari too.  Add a new browser.

I have wondered why Q doesn't pull a product if it is getting horrible reviews from purchasers. I got stuck with a hummingbird feeder that leaked ALL the time...a design flaw. Leaked sugar water and drew ants! Big mess. Discovered this too late to return but should have been able to and so should ALL the other purchasers who had the same darn complaint. Most other reviews said the same thing but Q kept selling this stinker. Only 1 or 2 positives but probably from the hummingbird feeder co. employees (I always look for new people giving reviews only on 1 product and raving about it. Pure phoney) Now I open packages right away and test stuff immediately. And ALWAYS read reviews before purchase.

I had to laugh last week during VPH's show, they were presenting that item with the block letters that spell home using a decorative seasonal piece for the letter O.  It said it was a "new" item and I was like , no it isn't and it had terrible reviews, I know, I wrote one of them.

No where to be found and no reviews, different item #.........I have to give  it to Val though as she stated at the end they had resdesigned the letters and used wood instead of polymar due to "customer feedback"  LOL, feedback hey??   None of the letters would stand up as the bottoms were all uneven, many received them broken too.  Luckily my DH is talented at everything and he was able to fix mine for me.  Though it is ridiculous to have to repair a brand new item.........anyway hope the people that bought the new set have better luck.

Does it to me, as well.  I use Edge.

Try this.

First refresh your page.

Next, see example for Just Bagels below.

M75255

Just Bagels NYC Kettle Boiled (24) 4

* * * * * 4.1 (19)  Read Reviews

Click on the 4.1 and (19) and Read Reviews, at the upper left side of the page under the title to see if any work.  Each one should bring up the reviews.  If that doesn't work, click on the stars.

If that doesn't work, try later. It still might not work.  Then it's up to you if you want to make the purchase or not.

Some suggest trying another browser.  That's up to you.
