The thing that concerns me though are all the comments I see about non-existent customer service. That will drive me away faster than anything else. I did have to do a return with HSN recently and was supposed to get an exchange but instead got a refund even though the item was still in stock. I had no problem getting through to CS there and everything got taken care of with no problems.
I had one chewy order take a few days longer but other than that they were great. Of all the places I ordered QVC was the only that I had real shipping issues with. I see the pandemic excuse as just that an excuse.

It took me a while to figure it out. I just started going to websites of retailers I trusted to see if they had the product. Sometimes I google the product too though I never click if I don't know the company. I also google for reviews by entering reviews for (product name copied from website). I found that the vast majority of what Q sells is less expensive elsewhere.
I use mrrebates and retailmenot the most for promotion codes and for money back on purchases. Rakuten is good too.
I go to sarraf dotcom for gold price comparison. I've never received anything from sarraf that was less that wonderful. And their customer service is great too.

With the Pandemic originating in China, the factories were closed and the supply of goods to sell was cut off. Sure, China's factories have started up but now there is a major flood and dam break in the same province that both started the epidemic and houses many of the factories. If you have less to sell.......

My daughter orders online from many retailers and has had shipping problems from many of them. I order from Q about 6 times a month on average. Some orders were shipped within days, others took a week or more. My biggest problem is with the postal service. My packages seem to be traveling very slowly, getting lost, going to the wrong post office, etc. Tracking is not working properly. This is out of QVC's hand, unless you blame them for shipping cheaply. As customers we want cheap or free shipping so we can't really complain about the way they choose to ship. Customer Service was swamped not just at QVC but everywhere I called from insurance companies, utilities, local government offices, etc. Employees were not in the offices with the pandemic, working from home, etc. These are extradoinary times and we need to expect that not everything is normal.
As far as employees (hosts) being let go, its all about sales numbers. The way I see it, those sent to QVC2 did not have good sales numbers (I never watched that channel) and I don't believe that channel gave them much of a chance to get their numbers up. Lots of viewers are writing they miss Antonella but maybe her sales numbers did not warrant her salary after being there 18 years she probably had a pretty hefty salary. I don't get Stacey S., I thought of her as David's sidekick, maybe to save money they felt her position was not needed. I liked her and wish her well.

I don't watch Q much but look at the program guide when I want to see a product that interests me. I am disappointed to hear that Antonella has been let go. She seemed to do a good job. Her personality seemed genuine & enjoyable to me. I wish all of them well in whatever new endeavor they choose.

@cyn2009 .. there are plenty of on-line vendors. Most offer the same products as the Q but at better prices and/or no shipping fees. That is why I order very little from QVC.

@Kachina624 .. I have to respectfully disagree with you. QVC had shipping problems long before the pandemic hit. That is why I have ordered next to nothing from the Q since September 2019. Also, the on-line vendors I have been ordering from since the pandemic hit aren't having the shipping issues QVC has. I am getting my orders from most within just a few days.

I don't think QVC is doing anything to any of us personally, but the reaction to so many of the problems and changes does intrigue me in a way because it seems to reveal how successful QVC has been over the years at building the kind of personal response to a virtual business that I would associate with a small locally owned longtime operation. It's been decades since a lovely women's store on the main street in my town closed and I still hear laments it's not here. That's what I'm sensing now with QVC.

i disagree also...qvc was sinking long before the pandemic..when they started expanding their stations, repeating products, raising prices on stuff not worth it,changing the shipping and return policies, hiring incompetent cs people etc. etc. they did themselves in.

I don't have a favorite host so that I am sorry they leave... Some hosts are much better than others explaing the item especially food and clothing...So spend your money wisely and where you want....
