I received a QVC survey regarding TSV presentation so I'm guessing others received it  too.
The questions were around when the TSV is available for purchase and if offering it after the sale date made shoppers think it wasn't really a great deal, etc.  They also wondered if it made a shopper not as concerned that it would sell out. (That one kind of made me chuckle.)
Anyhow I was curious how others felt about the early TSV offers and the after-the-TSV date continued sale. Just wondering.
I remember when TSVs were definitely only one day and they often sold out. One time I remember something selling out at the midnight presentation!  Did that true one day sale make us more inclined to buy something?

The one thing I wish would change about the TSV is the length of the presentations on the TSV day. It's just too long. I change the channel. 15 minutes would be plenty.

Just curious what others thought.

I'd admit I'm watching my alma mater's football game versus Illinois instead of QVC right now. LOL

I   totally agree with you.

I got the  Survey but did not participate because I hardly ever buy just because it is a TSV!

I received the survey and I filled it out. Providing feedback helps companies make good decisions.

I received the survery a few days ago and responded.  Not sure my responses are what they expected to hear.

There's something exciting about tuning in at midnight to see what the new TSV is. Offering it before/after detracts from that. If I want to buy, I will, either way, but that "unveiling" & that 1st presentation at midnight is gone. And if the TSV is selling out at midnight, I might order sooner rather than later.

That's true. It used to be fun when it was a "secret" until midnight.

I like that the TSV's are offered over a period of time beyond one day.  I used to miss out entirely when I was working and probably would now also even though I'm retired.  I have no desire to shop every day for hour after hour.

That TSV's used to sell out years ago has nothing to do with retail today -  QVC was new then, didn't have a whole lot of competition on TV, and the Internet?  Except maybe for Amazon books, who used it to shop in QVC's early days?  No one I knew.

i didn't receive this survey or any other survey for that matter.

i do think this is an interesting survey, about tsv's

i guess the thrill of tsv's is gone or at least dwindling.

yes, i do think the presentations are way too long. if they stayed on topic, they could be shorter. i don't know why they want people to call in, when they make the caller wait even longer, so that they can repeat again, the colors or whatever.

there was a time when many products offered here could not be purchased elsewhere, but that is not the case anymore.

there was a time when department stores did not have have a web site that you could shop online from, but now, most do and many offer free shipping. stores have what we (the shopper/customer) thinks are true sale prices (is 40% off, buy 1, get 1 free). and they have a lot of what is offered here. maybe in different colors or just one color, but it's the same product, made by the same company.

i would think that they would know that many people are cutting back on buying things, in general, including as many xmas gifts. many people want more products made in the USA. many of their customers have retired and are also cutting back on purchases.

i have never worried that a product would sell out, because no offense, they aren't selling good health, so anything else is not as important, at least not to me.

having the tsv early is not new. for years they had a monthly catalog that included maybe 10 of the tsv's. then they stopped that and started posting the tsv's on the web site early. pretty much about the same thing, if you stop and think about it.

yes, i remember when tsv's sold out frequently.

i think having the tsv available days after the presentation is fine, as some people may be on vacation, working and couldn't order, waiting for their credit card to close for the month, forgot about the tsv, or need to look around or get more information, about the product.

even before amazon prime came to be, they still were able to deliver orders quicker then here and they have had free shipping over $25 for a looooooooooooooooong time.

i don't have prime and get most orders in 5 days or less. the post office delivers my amazon orders on sundays also, for free. most of my walmart orders now arrive the next day for free. the rest are here within 2 days, unless i order on friday. i think the friday orders are here by tuesday at the latest.

currently, offering easy pay is about the only thing that i can think of that really differentiates them from shopping online from brick and mortar stores or elsewhere. a while ago, i noticed that some of the products that amazon offers under their own brands, have videos for some products.

I wish I'd get a survey from QVC.  Oh wait, I don't order from QVC any more.  Maybe that's why.  But you'd think they would want to know why a long-time, consistent customer suddenly stops buying.
