@SharkE

You can pull up the Lunchtime Specials at any time, just type Lunchtime Special Pricing in the search field.

@KingstonMom  You can, but new items are added after midnight (my time).

Great points brought up.  Most of the posters here feel the same.

IMO however, QVC has already shot themselves in the foot.  Some things can not be "undone".  Lets hope they will focus on changes they can make in the near future.

Kudos to you!!!  I would have said exactly the same things!  None of them can come up with anything new, except higher prices!

I know this has already been discussed but I thought I would share my experience. I received a call from QVC CS today. I recognized the number immediately. The woman explained that QVC was asking long-time customers to participate in a survey.

Well, she started asking questions about CS standards, watching vs shopping online, purchases, prices, quality, etc. Listed below are the major points I made:

1. I don't watch the Q much anymore because of the crazy antics of the hosts. No product info given, talking over each other, talking about families and personal stuff. I said it was like watching kids at the playground.

2. I said that QVC should change their name because Quality, and Value no longer applied.

3. High prices for basic clothing, t-shirts, shorts, polyester (yes, I mentioned SG), and things that I can purchase elsewhere for less. I told her I occasionally purchased Lunchtime Specials and that was it.

4. Same old, boring stuff sold day after day just from different vendors. (I mentioned the 50-50 Tours they used to do, and how I loved those new products).

5. Same or similar expensive TSVs in rotation.

6. Carolyn being let go. I said she WAS D&Co and how much I enjoyed her shows. She mentioned that she had been getting the same feedback from many, many people.

7. Am purchasing more from HSN due to more free shipping and lower prices.

I could tell she was taking notes because she kept asking me to repeat things I said.

Anyone else receive one of these calls lately? I would love to hear about your responses.Thanks!

I agree with you on everything except #6. I hate hearing that people are laid off and wish them well.

But people should not be so naive about how big corporations function. Letting people go, even long-time employees, is a regular thing with corporations. Yet people support those running for office who support right to work laws and other laws that slash employee rights. smh

I do not receive phone calls but do receive emails from time to time to take these surveys, they ask questions how I feel overall about the Q in general and to rate from good to bad, if bad is chosen they want you to explain why, I doubt if any of it is taken into consideration and I think these surveys are a waste of time.

@sugar plum  Excellent job!  Pretty much what I would say if they ever called me. I would leave out any comments about departed hosts since I personally have no feeling about any of them.

@CalminHeart and @kaydee50

Thank you for your opinions. 🙂

I worked for a large corporation for over 20 years when I was part of a large lay-off, so I know first-hand how it feels. It sucks. And I'm very sure that I didn't get the severance package that the Q offered. How do I know that? Because I didn't get one.

I expressed to the surveyor that I was shocked by her lay-off and missed her. Also, that Carolyn was D&C. I didnt elaborate further. I, too wish her well.

And thanks to everyone else for your feedback! 😀

I received the same phone call/survey and my response was very similar to yours: high prices, lack of variety and overall product quality. I also mentioned how appalled I was to see Carolyn let go and how this had affected my overall interest in QVC. There was a long pause - and the rep thanked me and said good bye. The company must be getting a lot of negative feedback.
