Remar, that's crazy! And it makes you nervous, surely, because they could make you look bad. That makes me nervous just reading it. Must be either a lot of rough shipping practices or outright stealing of items before they can arrive.
I still wonder what happened to my wreath I ordered in July. It simply never showed up and was never even close to my city. QVC made that one right.

@perfectstain. You don't have to put yourself out to return your item. Simply tape up the box, slap on the return Q address label. Go online to the USPS website and request a package pick up for any day you choose. My entrance is secure so I just leave packages with a post-it note "For USPS".
All retailers are going to make mistakes and ship wrong orders but QVC's have increased noticeably recently. I went YEARS with no wrong orders and have had 3 in the past two months. Others have also complained.

Im sorry this has happened to you. I dont think its QVC's fault as a whole, but more a individual customer service reps discretion.
I ordered a pair of Martha Stewart Jeans and Paid they extra money to have them on 2nd day shipping. When I opened up the jeans, inside was a pair of Martha Stewart Jeans, but not the ones I ordered. The item number was correct on the bag but inside was the wrong item. I was very mad because I paid extra so I could wear them on Saturday.
I called customer service and the girl kept putting me on hold. Instead of just re-ordering them and sending them 2nd day air, just like I ordered she made it very confusing by reimbursing me and then express shipping me the jeans. I was not happy by the way she handled the situation.
However, 2 weeks ago I ordered a pair of diamonique earrings. One of the earrings was missing a stone. I called up customer service, the rep immediately shipped me out a pair of the earrings 2nd day air, told me to wait before I sent the defective pair back to make sure there was nothing wrong with the 2nd pair and she was courteous, efficient and knew what she was doing.
What has me wondering is the quality is lacking, and they are not paying attention to their inventory. Also, they need to train their reps to fix the problems that arise in a fashion that suits the customer to the customer satisfaction. This all could of been avoided if QA was on the ball.

A few years ago they sent me one of those air conditioners you can move from room to room.I didn't order any air conditioner. They were quick to come get that lol
