I received a QVC Gift Card for Christmas. With that card, I ordered a Kirks Folly Necklace and a Susan Graver Item. When my items arrived at my home, I received the SG piece and a Joan Rivers Necklace. I called Customer Service and was told I needed to return the Joan Rivers necklace to them and they suggested I BUY another Kirks Folly necklace as they were getting low in stock. I resisted this at first, as I didn't want to use my credit card. I was told when QVC received the Joan Rivers Necklace my credit card would be credited with the return.

I tracked the status of the return via their website and began contacting customer service when I saw it arrived. It does not appear the CS people took notes on this issue as I have one email that discusses the return of my Judith Ripka Neckalce (???) which I never purchased or ordered.

Well, the return credit did come through, but it was placed on my membership account because I made the original purchase with a gift card. Ok-I get that to a point--but why tell me you would credit my QCARD because of all the inconvenience if you weren't going to do it?

I ended up talking to a supervisor who was very nice--(everyone was nice)..and said they could not move the credit from my account to my QCARD as originally promised.

So now, I have to pay off my QCARD (more inconvenience) and let this credit sit until I buy something in the future ??? Like I am really feeling like buying anything from QVC right now?

Why make promises they can't keep? Why be so careless with your record keeping as you at one point really didn't know what I was returning that was sent to me in error in the first place? To say I am disappointed in an understatement.

So sorry you had so much trouble! I'm sure the person that gave you the gift card would be equally disappointed since it proved such a nightmare. I'm glad all of your money is accounted for. Guess you will have to pay off your credit card and sit on the credit. Hopefully QVC will present something that you really like in the future and you will be happy to have that credit.

A lot of people have been disappointed with QVC lately (me included). I turned to Amazon and just shop QVC when they have something I really want and can't find elsewhere. I know that the old days of doing frequent regular business with them are over. Just got to move on and shop with places that appreciate me and make my experience more positive.

I do think they will have something for you in the future though.
