It will be interesting to see which host & hostesses makes it into work Sunday.  A massive snow storm is predicted starting Sunday morning ending Sunday evening.  QVC area may get under a foot of snow minimum.

I always assumed they had places to stay over because there are always hosts on air. If they know there's bad weather, they may just stay in a nearby hotel and get picked up in a car or truck.

Yes, the Q always books hotel rooms when bad weather is on the way.  And, some of the dressing rooms have beds.

@Fribwl.  It's been deadly boring for weeks but this weekend they outdid themselves.  Try for Denim & Co around noon on Q2 tomorrow.  I haven't even done a single Q check since yesterday.

@Shanus.  They used to send somebody with a 4WD Jeep to pick hosts up at their homes.  My sister said 7" of snow expected in that area.  That's not such a big deal.  I had 6" here in November.

@Fribwl  I think that the big Cooking Day is taking fashion's place today. I for one am thrilled with that, I don't buy fashion but I am a big kitchen ware buyer.

They have to have in house accomodations...think of the vendors of the TSV's who make  mulitple on screen appearances every few hours on the TSV presentation....they surely need a place to freshen up, eat, grab a nap...

I am SICK of snow. But...here in PA...in about six months we'll be wilting under 90+ degree heat and soaking humidity....so it's a trade off!!!

Think of the huge temperature swings....gonna be -10 here this week at night and 95 in July!!!

I feel so bad for my ferals...they are out there today and have no idea what's coming tonight and this week....They can get out of the wind in thier shed ( my neighbor's animals not mine)...but it's going to be so cold....

I got extra dry food so I'm prepared, and we'll see how that heated water dish holds up...but they have to walk hundreds of feet on the "kitty-cat trail" they have worn into the snow, across the wide open windy "plain" between my house and the nieghbors shed where they live....

I wish I could take them all in. After years of feeding them, I STILL can't get near them to touch, and I wouldn't try....Don't want to get scratched or bitten by animals who've never gotten any vet care.

Why the H___ don't people take care of thier animals???

People shouldn't have pets if they can't afford to neuter and feed them.

@Othereeeen Here in our area (Western PA) we have not had nasty winters for several years but I think I am supporting our plow guy this year. But I do agree with you about the animals, we went shopping yesterday bought extra goodies for the birds, they have a full larder of muffins, fruits, cooked veggies, pasta, meat scraps, etc . . .
