Here's what I don't understand. I'll go under "items recently on air" and if there is for example an all day beauty day, then why repeatedly show the same items. There are all kinds of new items online that never get air time. They will have an item aired 20 times a day when they could show something new.

One channel of QVC is enough to last a life time. No need for extra channels.

The announcement has just been made by Amy: QVC Plus will become QVC 2, with more live shows than before.

Are they removing the PLUS because some viewers thought it was plus sized clothes perhaps?    Why change the name just to add other shows.

@giraffe77: I never thought of that... My guess is that the ratings for Q Plus aren't that great, and they're doing this to drum up more interest.

@Caaareful Shopper. Maybe QVC finally decided it had all it could do to stay financially afloat with their original channel and are putting the brakes on QVC Plus and Beauty IQ.

My cable co. gets the plus channel, but in some weird, stretched out, unwatchable format. In the beginning if I wanted to see Beauty IQ, had to watch on my computer...now, I don't bother.

Perhaps if they eliminated Q Plus and Beauty IQ, they could be competitive, and the "Value" could return to QVC. Someone's got to pay for three channels, and it must be us.

@febe1. If they were really going to close down the other 2 channels, I think they'd do so without fanfare & slip quietly away under the cover of darkness...not with a grand announcement.

I really don't care for the beauty plus,they could do this on the reg. Q, the makeup looks extreme and they all look greasy,I hope the male host comes back to reg. channel.He is good ,cheerful, and can handle most merchandise.the plus channel was nice in case you missed Valeries show and then they would repeat it  .There are to many vacumn shows,mattress,wen,and others.And get some new merchandise.Tucka.
