QVC Item Page Has Changed!!

I didn't know how to actually state the thread title, but when you now click on an item's page, it has been "upgraded." For example, if you click on an item and the item has a video, the video is what plays automatically, not a photo. In addition, hover over a color selection and the item in that color actually appears in a small photo for you to. I like it.

I just clicked on a couple of items and everything was the same as it always has been. Do you recall a specific item number where you saw that?

I wonder if the upgrade is being beta tested and not a full roll-out yet.

Tried both items and they both came up the same way. First the picture, with the ability for the video below that, just as before. I use an Apple laptop, if that makes any difference.

I'm in my office at work [at lunchtime -- really]. We use HP laptops and Internet Explorer. Sorry, that's as technical as I can get.

You would notice the change -- even the product review section is totally overhauled.

I personally hate it when sites auto play videos, news sites, shopping, etc. It can slwo your browsing speed, the sound could be turned on (loud) and you are in public, etc. I always set my search engines to not allow this function.

@ajsidney12 I have to have my sound on at work; when I clicked on the QVC items, no sound was heard, so they must have accounted for that.

I do think that it is being tested. I like the new style except for when I try to select colors, which are larger in size, the name of the color is hidden by the picture. Other than that it is a great change. To listen to the sound, there is a sound bar on the video. I like that it doesn't come on with the video, a good option! The new pages seem to come up at random, I don't think it is linked to the items.

I have to agree -- the new system is awful. I don't know why in the world QVC can't leave well enough alone. I used to think they had the best Web site I visited -- not so much anymore. Definitely do NOT like this new change. Geez.
