QVC In Studio Lighting on Jewelry Day 6/28

I've watched most shows this morning because I love jewelry.  I've been confused at how the hosts and vendors look.  At first I thought the air conditioning broke down because everyone looks like they're sweating profusely.

Mary DeAngelis, Scott Grimes, Katia and Ade the models  -- they all looked so incredibly shiny or wet.

But it must be that QVC amped up the studio lighting to give their TSV, and other jewelry, that look of enormous sparkle.  The lighting on the TV makeup is something to get used to for sure.  Not sure everyone is seeing this, but I'm watching on my same TV, and the shine is incredible.

Fire Light -- pun intended -- is amazing!

Still, I'm enjoying the jewelry shows.  Smiley Happy

I always say that about JTV, the jewelry has sparkle like no other on there.

@Caaareful Shopper   I agree!!!   Model looks like she is full of Argon Oil.  LOL  I was shocked to see Joel.  Good memories of the old days.

@Caaareful Shopper   I'd noticed how sweaty everyone looked but the lighting situation hadn't occurred to me.  It's hard to translate the sparkle of diamonds and some other stones on TV.  They just don't come across like they do in real life.

Yes, I watched a few minutes of the TSV earlier and thought Mary looked a little odd.  Then I chalked it up to eye drops I had just used, thought oh well and changed channels.  Lol.

Re: QVC In Studio Lighting on Jewelry Day 6/28

Last night when JT came on, she was presenting some JAI necklace and earrings that had 14 K gold in it and she said that the lighting in the studio was so bright it made it hard to even see the gold part of the jewlery,  so she tried to shade it with her hand so that the gold was able to be seen.  I remember someone, either a model or the brand person, saying that they were wearing their sunglasses because the lights were so bright.
