Wow, I suddenly feel so old.....

So do you remember what is the first product you purchased and by what host?Smiley Very Happy

Mine was a tinted light fixture you hung over the kitchen table.

It was from JH....

It was a small trinket decorative box - don't remember the host.  Then I noticed a line of clothes with an article I wanted called Maggie Sweet and it was on HSN, so I switched from QVC to HSN for a long time.  Also really liked jewelry from Suzanne Summers with Coleen Lopez on HSN, they cracked me up.  They laughed so much they actually snorted once trying to hold it back.

Then for some reason probably jewelry I went back to QVC - Big Bonanza Silver Day, Creed Silver, Silver Style with Jane Tracey that then went to Jill Bower every Sunday morning.   Bought so much from these shows they changed me from gold to silver.    I saw Susan Graver clothes and liked and have been buying them since.

Diamonique earrings for me, about 35 years ago, must have been Kathy L! I don't wear them anymore, but they are still clear & pretty.

Remember all the collectibles they sold? Not a big purchaser of those, but I liked looking at them.

Here from the start. First purchase was a herringbone gold necklace from Mary Beth. Still have it. In those days when they had the Gold Rush days they would dress up in costumes from that era. I bought a lot of gold back then and it was dirt cheap when compared to prices these days.

Re: QVC IS 36????

[ Edited ]

It has not been 36 years, probably 25, lots of silver and gold jewelry, some Joan Rivers jewelry, Black Hills Gold, and some Bob Mackie clothing, tons of Louis Dell'Olio clothing (Louis had the best fashion shows & models & the best quality clothing, IMO), some Bradley leather jackets, some Susan Graver (she used to make great jackets) and some Denim & Co. Oops - George Simonton too.

The first item I remember purchasing was from Jane Treacy when she did a Saturday morning show.  It was a travel bag which turned out to be too big for me and I returned it!  The next item I purchased was a breast cancer awareness pin that I still wear.  Has to be well over 25 years ago.

Jan, 1995, Gold Rush, a 14K herringbone chain, saw it on the air when channel surfing, Judy Crowell was selling it. It was the TSV.

Didn't discover it until the early 90s when I got a 14k yellow diamonique ring.  Don't remember the host.

Judith Jack marcasite ring. It is a band ring and still looks nice.
