QVC/HSN only shopping channel left?

With the departure of ShopHQ it seems that only QVC/HSN have survived. What's their future?

@raspberrygal. No, there still JTV and ShopLC plus an expensive jewelry channel whose name I don't recall.

That host page you posted is ancient and outdated. Lisa Robertson left at least 10 years ago.

Gems TV is the very pricey jewelry channel, lots of estate items.

Looks like 15 of those are no longer with QVC, except maybe as a vendor rep.

We get Shop LC, which I don't understand anyway. Just landed on it and the host is selling a 10k gold necklace for $1799, I saw the price quickly drop onscreen to that price from $6999, and she said that it "started" at $8999. What's up with that? Obviously, I don't watch that channel because I don't know what they're doing.

I hope they continue to broadcast HSN because we haven't gotten QVC OTA for a few years now.

And that old host page was a blast from the past!

The pain they have cost us, the evils that never happened.

Shop LC starts introducing an item with a basic retail price, then every few minutes they play what they call Smackdown Music and the price drops until they announce the price now on the your screen is the final price, just a marketing ploy. They do have good prices and lots of discounts on their website too.

Often what they sell are mfg closeouts.
