I must admit I'm not cheering the state of the Q's financial position.  I actually would feel sad to see it go under.   I do my share of shopping at the Q but not as much as I used too but I think of all the people who will lose their jobs, the impact on the West Chester community.   I have not followed all the threads on this subject nor do I read their financial reports, so I can't comment om the who what when where or who, but I find it sad.

I don't like what's happening with all the streaming and having to pay more to stream everything,   Oh well

Q is already streaming on YouTube  and Hulu, and I believe other platforms. Home Shopping is old news with a very limited audience of predominatly older women.

Way too many other options with more variety.

I don't get it. With all the other options and variety, why aren't they making more money?

The Q audience is a older demo that wants Q prices of ten years ago. They shriek at $50 or $60 dollar clothing. Pricing is the same at other nice retailers. They should go to Target and shop.

My observation. Recently saw a pant offering for $60. I wasn't interested because last year bought a very similar pair in style and fabric at Walmart for $15.99.

I think the Q audience knows and remembers value as part of their equation.

Re: QVC Group Second Quarter 2025 Report

Thanks, ellaphant. You are correct! I would never pay the prices the Q and sometimes HSN ask. I shop at Marshall's, TJ Maxx, and Macy's. I get quality clothes at great prices. The selection isn't always great, but I don't need anything. When I get a nice top,it is a treat. I do find some nice clothes on HSN clearance. I see why home shopping channels are dying . out. Younger people shop online and resale shops.

Their largest category is Home, which incorporates Home Décor, Home Improvement, and Cooking & Dining, with 38%.

Apparel & Accessories was 37% of the April-June sales period. Interesting to note that "Other," which is probably Health & Fitness (and Toys?) increased from 2% to 3%, possibly from increasing sales of VitaHustle.
