Re: QVC Group Results: Not Great!!

Oh please dear lord give us news tomorrow or later this week that David Rawlingson is leaving on a jetplane and will never be back again! I realize he isn't the sole reason of failure, but him and corporate have done NOTHING to listen to us viewers/customers. Radical changes MUST be made, ASAP!!

They need to trim so much fat all around from corporate to hosts and unfortunately models. It must be a major shakeup. Then, they need to start watching Shark Tank or going all over to expos and trade shows to find unifque products we can't get off Amazon or many other places.

CEO must be replaced tho, he has been the worst one in their history in his short couple of years.

@cjm61 The OP has never expressed the desire for the demise of QVC.

I believe what the OP was referring to are the few on here that state they never shop at QVC, never watch, and will never buy from them. Yet, they constantly come on here and complain. I'm pretty sure that is what @They Call Me MR Wilkes was saying. My opinion of course.

I totally agree. It was obvious to me he was talking about all the people who do not watch QVC, and are proud they do not shop here.

I have been shopping on the Q for over 30 years. I love the Q. I am loyal shopper even when there are hosts that are not appealing, or products that that I am not interested in. I continue to buy. Do I think they have to many of the same old shows? Yes. Do I wish there was more clothing, and cosmetics? Yes. Would I be sad that the Q stops presenting whatever? Yes.

Yes, and there's one poster in particular who hates QVC, trashes the shows and hosts here constantly on these forums, and was being nasty when she posted "bye bye QVC" in delight.  How sad to spend all your days on a forum of a company you hate just trashing everything about it and its hosts.

I agree it's time for a significant house cleaning, but from where I sit, the last CEO is the one that drove this company into the ground and left a real mess behind when he finally departed. That said, minor tweaks and overwrought 'promotions' that largely fall flat are not going to save the day. They need a whole new game plan and some fresh approaches, which they're not likely to get with the current hierarchy.

Sorry to hear it. I wonder if they'll survive that long.
