I do not own a printer so must use one at STAPLES.

Most online companies I deal with are not enclosing return slips. You must go online and print a return slip. If you shop online you might want to invest in a printer.

@ellaphant  This has happened to me as well.  I called customer service to print one for me (I don't own a printer either) and it took almost 1 1/2 months to get it!  I just received another package with no return label and don't want to wait that long again.  How do you go about printing the label at Staples?  Maybe it shoud be obvious, but I would be grateful if you could talk me through it.

I agree.  I hate that they stopped putting them in all packages.  Sometimes they do and if I don't use that one, I save the shipping label for future use.  And before anyone tells me not to do that, I do it and it works.

IMO, it's a cost saving measure and/or to discourage returns.  What little I buy from anywhere, I'm 99% sure I'm going to keep.  The items I've received from HSN have all had return labels.  Blair and Macy's did not provide return labels.

i do mostly get return labels with QVC purchases.

i get A LOT more of them than from any other company.

most companies are doing away with them and you have to print them out online. some companies you even have to call to get return authorization first.

@ellaphant ..............No return labels is the normal for lots of companies.  I dont get one from Amazon and havent for over a year.  Its not just QVC.

@Imaoldhippie   I've ordered from Amazon for years, and have NEVER gotten a return label.  Nobody mails stuff back to Amazon as they have a different procedure

I just don't think this is a big deal.  It's very easy to get the return set up on the website, and all those stickers, mostly unused, are a waste of materials.
