Don't have to worry about this because I no longer buy clothing and shoes from QVC due to inconsistent sizing, except for one style of D&Co pants, capris and crop pants, which for the most part, seem pretty consistent in the size department. Have been tempted occasionally, but previous experience changes my mind fairly quickly. Yes, I'm quite sure that clothing sold in stores quite possibly have been tried on. However, you can examine the item before you purchase, something that you are unable to do on QVC. Obviously worn shoes should not be sold as new, and I feel that they should not even be resold (toe marks on the inside...ewww!). I don't think that stores would accept shoes in that condition for return, because I have seen them look at the soles for wear. QVC needs to inspect returns, period.
