Looking for Suggestions... A couple weeks ago, I ordered (3) Liz Claiborne Eternity Scarves to put aside as gifts for my 3 daughters. I did this late Sunday night. The next day, Monday, I checked the lunchtime specials and the scarf was listed as a special at $6.04. I paid $21+ for each. It was still available and I was trying online to order 3 more at the lunch price thinking I would cancel the order placed the night before. I kept getting error messages so I called Customer Service and the rep said she would honor the pricing and give me a credit of $45.87 on Sunday night's order and look for it to appear on my Visa account in 3-5 business days. It never showed up so I just called customer service. I was told Corporate said I received the lowest price and no credit would be issued. I think that was dirty business. I've never had anything like this happen to me with QVC and I've been a customer for many, many years. I'm returning the scarves but has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions?

Things are changing...CS used to be able to help, now I am told they have to emailcorporate. be careful QVC...I have found several items cheaper on Amazon, with free shipping since I have prime. many items cheaper on Ebay and Last call or Neiman. it was always the great CS thatkept me coming back and I still buy several items a week, bit i usually wait for as is or lunchtime specials.

No, I've never had this happen and would've expected better. The few times I've called about a better price becoming available within a week or so of my having ordered, I've been given the better price. I don't blame you for returning them, but before doing so, if you want to give them to your daughters, I'd call "corporate" and discuss it with them. This isn't good business and I'd hope there was some sort of mistake made at their end. It's always possible that there wasn't, though, because as was noted, things are changing and all over, I'd add. I recently had the same thing happen at Lord and Taylor and they refused to honor the sale price on an item ordered less than a week earlier. Instead, they gave me a discount code to be used on a future item, which didn't sit well with me, because in order to avail myself of the savings, I had to order something else. I re-ordered the same item at the sale price and they cancelled the order, claiming it was sold out, but that item remained on their website at the sale price for weeks and weeks after that time. Needless to say, I'm limiting my purchases with that retailer, as I'd always thought better of them too...

Sorry for the post. It copied and looked fine before submitting!

Did the CS rep actually show that the lunchtime special price was $6.04? I was just wondering if it was some kind of mistake in the pricing and no one is explaining it. I've never heard of any scarf on QVC selling for $6.04, especially an LC. But I don't watch all the time, so I just might not be aware that they put anything on sale that low. I've gotten a pricing change a couple of times with no problem when something went on sale for less within 30 days of my order. Just curious - it wouldn't be the first time they've made a mistake......

Wow. If you're certain it was the same scarf offered at that low price, I'd return the darn things and advise them, via their ridiculous dispute letter, that you had done so, since they weren't willing to assist a long-term customer. The only problem with returning them is you'll be out the return shipping. Any way you slice it, OP, sadly, you stand to lose something.

I was shocked that the very same scarf, item number and color, was marked down that low on the lunch specials and especially after I ordered 3 of them the night before at $21. It wasn't like I waited two weeks later...I was trying to reorder at the lower price during the lunch specials time period. It was the customer service rep that suggested she issue a credit for my first order. Maybe I should have suggested a new order and then gone back and cancelled my first order. I've heard so many people say they've gotten price adjustments. Well, I learned my lesson. Thanks for letting me vent!

I think this is terrible. I would have gone straight to the phone to auto-order the items at that very low price, then canceled the first order. I never have a problem using automated ordering.
From reading a number of posts, however, this isn't exactly out of the ordinary--lately.

Could it be that the scarves were 6.03 on easy pay for 3 easy payments? It's too bad that you didn't get a refund but I would do as someone else suggested and send the scarves back.
