Re: QVC Casting Call for new hosts?

Channels 2 and 3 are mostly reruns in my area so where are all the hosts they have? How many days a week do they work? Seems like one will work one week and don't see them again for a while.

RE: Mary Beth, Pat and Jayne Brown wonder what will happen when their contracts are up, If they do have a contract. Hate to see them go because they are the best host's.

Re: QVC Casting Call for new hosts?

Good Evening Barbgee, QVC3 is always reruns, but QVC2 is LIVE almost as much as QVC. I must say some of the hosts on QVC2 are a pleasure to watch, especially new host Rachel Ellis. She is going to be a favorite of many of you, in my humble opinion. I would say if they did well picking in the last cast of new hosts, Rachel will be a STAR!

I wonder when (or if) Nancy is coming back. She’s been gone for like 2 months. No other host appeared to get that long a vaca at once.

I think it would help if they attempted to hire hosts who have good voices and speak well. I don't speak Gibberish.

Being a host is more difficult than it seems. They are doing what Q tells them to do, which is too often low-brow or obnoxious.

I'd be bored to tears as a host with all the repetition and variations. And I doubt I could demean myself the way some do.

They appear to be moving quickly to fill the slots.

The application deadline was May 17th and yesterday Jennifer mentioned that auditions and interviews were underway at Studio Park.

Getting fully staffed up for Christmas in July!

@KKlim   I know, I miss Nancy much and hope she is doing well. Something is def a bit off with her situation. She seems like she was "burnt out" I went to her FB page the other day and she says, 'much needed R & R and traveling" Did she feel her schedule was too demanding?

Luckily, if she is traveling than one would assume that would cancel out illness, thankfully. I do hope she lets us all know, but I realize we may never find out, which is fine, too. I believe its been over a month now, since her last show on air.

Re: QVC Casting Call for new hosts?

I just left a comment about how professional Leah is and how she steers to conversation back to what they are presenting.  I couldn't think of the nighttime host that has the same class as Leah but found it here.......it is Stacey and now I read that she left abruptly.  This is really sad when people do an excellent job of on air presentation and are beautiful to boot.  I will miss her.
