I received a survey today in email. Not one spot to leave comments. I guess they don’t want to hear complaints of family stories and pjs, wine and menopause Mondays.

I have filled out QVC surveys in the past, but mine have been responses to certain brands.  The last one was for "Beautiful".   What I don't understand is why so much chatter is necessary.

I already know these are real people, but they are paid to explain the qualities of a product they're selling.  Some talk is fine, but maybe QVC should examine the amount of time spent on idle chatter and compare it with the time used for selling the product.  Years ago there were a great deal more calls that were taken during a presentation.

The wine is a whole other issue.  I have never in my life seen a salesman drink in front of a client at their retail store.  This seems to be pushing the envelope and as a result there are many shows I do not watch.    It may be chummy to the powers that be at QVC, but I find it VERY inappropriate to have a glass of wine while trying to sell a product.  I know that others feel this way too.

I agree, I can't stand the personal stories, useless chit chat, TMI, and antics. That and constant repetition of products are why I rarely watch anymore.

Fyi. They are drinking NA wine, juice, ginger ale, or anything tht resembles the wine but without alcohol. It's just like actors do on every other tv show.

Even Dean Martin's whiskey glass held apple juice.  It's all smoke and mirrors.

@Tuppermore  - I don't like the personal stories about children, vacations, deceased family members, etc.  The wine does not bother me one bit.  The Q sells wine so why not.

I got one too--and deleted it--not interested in any of it

I didn't realize that the drinking wine is all "fake".  That makes me even more convinced that it just should be left out of presentations.  If it's all "smoke and mirrors", what are they trying to communicate to those that watch the various presentations.  I see no point!

My survey this week asked about returns experience and took maybe 3 minutes to complete.   They did allow comments to be made.
