Actually Time Warner stopped it last month.

Re: Q stopped the analog broadcasting

I have two analog tvs and still view qvc on both.   Is this different than analog broadcasting?

This is true.  I believe the OP is referring to broadcast channels which you can receive through a converter box or with a digital antennea.

Re: Q stopped the analog broadcasting

I have cable and I have two old tv's that were able to receive QVC analog.  It depends on the cable company.  I have brighthouse and it went off about a month or so ago.   I bought a roku unit and can get it on that now.

From what I understand is, it depends on your cable provider.  I was told by my cable company that they were one of the last to stop the analog programming and supposed to cut out more channels in the next few months. I have a DVR and I can get it on the lower station as well as the HD station.   They are trying to get like satellite and make you have a box in every room.   Not going to happen here.

that wouldn't stop me! When I am out of the country traveling, I can easily watch QVC live online wherever I am, so if you have Internet access you can still watch live QVC.

P.s. QVC has nothing to do with analog versus digital programming offered by cable companies.

Re: Q stopped the analog broadcasting

Recently QVC seems to be broadcasting differently. I do not have HD. Before I would have the black bars on the top and bottom of the screen. Now, March 2017 the picture fills the entire screen. The picture is distorted and squished so that everything is elongated. It is looks like one of those carnival mirrors where you looked tall and skinny. Valierie's spheres no longer look round.  Also the "Q" logo is not round. Maybe is is my local cable. Has anyone noticed this or have any insight into this?

@NewHP, during the last couple of days, I have noticed that the picture looks elongated also when I watch qvc.   I don't like how it looks.
