Re: Q running ads on Q re where to.Stream

I am absolutely not going to go to the trouble of streaming QVC.  For us it involves more than one remote and too much time to get there.  QVC is a "flip to" for me, not the main thing I am watching.

I may still shop online.  But I tend to buy when I see something presented.  My purchases will go way down, and that is okay with me and is surely okay with my DH.

It’s not hard at all to stream QVC. I use the remote, press speaker and say YouTube QVC and presto I’m all set!!

Can’t get any easier than that! 🥴

We don’t pay for tv of any kind.. cable or satellite. Haven’t paid a dime in over 4 years!

HUGE waste of money when STREAMING is FREE!!! 🤗

Re: Q running ads on Q re where to.Stream

I bought my Roku so long ago they've updated it many time since.  Still, I stream everything and anything I want.  I've been watching QVC+/HSN+ 11 channels -- yes, 11 channels combined -- for years now.

It's the same effort as watching regular cable TV. I don't know how it could get any easier:

  1. I turn on my TV with my remote.
  2. Click the QVC/HSN+ channel.
  3. Then select the the Main channel, or...

... I can select any one of the 11 channels they have, or one of the hundreds of special videos they download for viewing, like Shawn's Podcast, movies, styling shows by Courtney Cason, etc.

The Qurate CEO  said several years ago that the future of QVC was streaming.   Like @Caaareful Shopper , I get all the channels on Roku with voice control...no buttons to push.

I have little time and zero interest in what they have to stream. Watching QVC live to shop is becoming less and less tolerable.

I gladly pay for all the streaming services I have that suit my taste and offer actual entertainment and information.

@RescueLover Well we still pay for cable.  I like to be able to flip channels at any time to see what else is on.  I find a lot of interesting programs that I would not know about otherwise had I not have the ability to do that.  So for us, Cable is NOT a waste of money.

Hi! @Puppy Lips 🤗

Sorry for upsetting you, I didn’t mean to when I said that. I’ll explain…

We get over 100 channels, movies, music, Youtube etc without paying a dime. We have Samsung TVs.

AND we have Roku on our tvs. so we can watch ALL the QVC channels. Once you buy the Roku (I think each of ours was around $50) then there’s no cost to use.

I love YouTube so i often go back and forth between YouTube (watching podcasts like Shawn’s, etc) and QVC Live TV programming on YouTube!!

And like @Kachina624 said you can use voice command for everything. Or scroll through the channels like you mentioned.

We were paying $120 a month for cable and it’s Absolutely freeing not having that bill. We’ve saved a ton since cutting that totally unnecessary expense. 🤗
