This quote tells me dancing daughter and Violet and Henry stories will never stop.

"I get letters on a daily/weekly basis, often from people going through a hard time who feel a real connection with a host talking about their personal journey. David Venable has been very courageous talking about his weight loss journey. That makes a powerful connection and builds deep relationships of understanding, vulnerability and trust with our viewers."

Q just wants people to think there is a connection. It's all fake. There is no relationship or connection.  Hosts are salespeople who happen to be on tv or online. They aren't friends or acquaintances. They only want to make sales.

Everyone has stories about their kids, lives, relationships, etc etc. I don't tune in to hear hosts' stories. I'm gone when a story begins or they act like silly teenagers.

After being charged 17 for 2 enchiladas I almost fainted.

Everything from food, clothes, shoes, services has went thru the roof and higher.

People are just hurting. My sister just shops the thrifts.

cheaper grocery stores.  If things don't change life

will be a battle just for the necessities.

I honestly can't see QVC not still doing their normal live television broadcast.  A lot of, if not most people shop that way.🌸

Disagree.  Perhaps a certain age group watches TV and buys but I certainly don't (age 74) and can't imagine younger (under 50) people watching TV in order to shop.  Everything is online.

@kaydee50 I agree. QVC has a problem in that people younger than Gen X largely shop online. It's what they know. And Gen Z? Forget about it.

Plus, more and more people are "cutting the cord" with cable, so fewer people will stumble onto home shopping through flipping channels. I would guess that unless there's a culture shift QVC will eventually leave live television.

I believe QVC will dominate the Global Shopping World!! They know they’ve got a good thing going! Why would they ever want to stop. If anything more and more mall stores will close and utilize QVC to sell their items.

Who would have thought Macys would be closing so many stores. That’s a sign that the malls will be fazed out. Instead these mall stores will be selling thousands of their items in one single day and no longer paying expensive mall rent, utilities and employee salaries. It’s the way of the future!! šŸ¤—šŸ¤—šŸ¤—

Sometimes you just can't help think the hyperbole is pure humor. I wonder if Alibaba, Amazon, Temu, and others are prepared to handle QVC's supremacy over the world market with their RadioShake like overstock.
