Is it just me and my computer?  I have recurring issues when I go to check out.

I have slow issues trying to move around in the forums. I’ve missed a lot of good topics I’m sure, but I’m tried of waiting longer than usual.

@OKPrincess.  Same with me. Very annoying.

Me, too.  This has been going on for a while.

Yes, @OKPrincess@NickNack and @proudlyfromNJ!    When we click/tap on certain nicknames (not all) the wait time is incredibly long.   Also, if we choose the general forum list of threads (the word "Forum" above "My Favorite Brands") there's often a long delay.   It happens, too, occasionally when we try to submit or edit a post.    I've even seen the website time-out trying to respond -- that's not good.

I tried reporting it with details and examples nearly 2 weeks ago, but the IT support people used the excuse that the Black Friday shopping traffic on the website was the cause.    Problem with that is that it began over a week prior to the Black Friday offerings and it never has resolved.   I feel strongly that it's a database indexing problem related to the user file and also to thread topic listings, and it's being ignored by the IT department.    I doubt we'll get them to pay attention until the holidays are over, so they no longer can use that as an excuse.

@Blk&GoldFan,  If your software is up-to-date and you've tried different browsers and also clearing the cookies/cache/website data, you might want to contact the QVC Social Team to see if they can help:

QVCSocialTeam@qvc.com

I'm sorry you're having problems.   This glitchy website is beyond frustrating.

@dooBdoo.  If I click on forum I get nowhere. I have to click on blogs and forums, then scroll down and hit view all forums or something like that then click on view by post. It’s different and convoluted each time.

Sometimes I just have to give up!

I know, @proudlyfromNJ!   I actually open a new tab to look at something else while the main forum thread listing is loading, or when I try to look at my own profile.

It's a significant problem but I don't expect it to be addressed until after the holidays.    The "high holiday traffic" excuse doesn't even make sense when we look at the specific clues to the source.

         Yes! Yes! Yes!

For several weeks it's taken "forever"to load my own, or anyone else's profile page.

I NEVER tap that red notification square, so rely on the profile pages.

In general I select through "View All Forum Topics" and that usually loads quickly.

However, loading individual forums and threads are so slow I often get a "this site cant be reached" message.

WAY Worst, selecting an individual poster in any way, even from the "users" search bar, and the delay is maddening! These never load quickly any more, even if I take the tablet and stand where WiFi is strongest.

I also keep multiple tabs open so I can go elsewhere while waiting for a profile to load.

Glad to see your posts re this @dooBdoo.

Wasn't sure if it was this site, or this cranky Amazon Fire tablet. Maybe both. Lol!

I like to use the desktop setting with the full view, for these forums, and that's recently gone wonky too.

Keeps reverting back to the mobile view by itself, roughly 20% of the time. So have to keep resetting it to full view, then waiting for another reload .

Thank you, @x Hedge, and I'm very glad to see your comments, too!😊   This needs to be resolved, but with all the problems associated with holiday shopping I really don't think QVC will listen right now.    I genuinely think there's a database corruption that easily could be corrected (very elementary, basic "tech support 101").    But I also think we'll have to wait until after Christmas, or perhaps after the first of the new year, before we can get the attention of IT support.   In the meantime, the website will slog along and paying customers will go elsewhere.
