Have you received a request from the Q to answer a few questions - Q wants to know?
I have a number of times and I state what I think of the Q, shows & Hosts, etc. ...
This evening, I was on-line (w/ the Q) checking on some items and a request to take a survey came up ... so I answered and wrote what I was thinking, at the time about the Q ... here is what I wrote regarding if I would recommend the Q to a relative or friend:
~
I'd warn of the "cost to try" the Q's products - the amount of S/H to arrive & the $ to return, if not satisfied.
My shopping has changed considerably in part by the S/H & return charges, just to "try" an article of clothing/shoes which may not fit correctly is not worth wasting $10 + each time.
I'm also less impressed by the quality of items (D&Co, SG, Rika just to name a few) and I'm amazed by the increase of prices on items, too expensive for items that can be purchased for less elsewhere & no S/H fees, if it needs to be returned.
I purchase from the Q, products that I'm unable to purchase in a B&M store, on-line w/free S/H, or a good deal.
My watching of the Q has diminished considerably as well. I find the items for the shows repetitive - same Vendors & items - boring. What has happened to the Q? Where is the variety of items - like JJ Peng lamps, etc. items that are interesting and unusual?
Hosts are pushy & interrupt. Good ones are: Nancy, Leah, Alberti.

I'm curious as to why you would shop here if you're so unhappy with the overall experience.

@mzlg Well said. I completely agree. I too miss the unique and sometimes pricey items QVC used to carry.

I am very unhappy that Liz Claiborne is gone! The fit was perfect for me. I, too, miss the shows of years ago when there was a range of products that were not repetitive! The Q should go out on those product searchs that they used to conduct.

@makena, I have been a Q shopper and watcher from way back ... I live in a rural area & my commute to work and college was very early & the commute back was very late, so shopping the Q was helpful & the products were up to my standards.
The Q presentations were interesting & fun - Kirks Folly and cut glass from JJ Peng, Echo of the Dreamer and there were so many others ... it has only been in the last few years that I have not been really satisfied with the Quality, Value and Convenience of some of the products, which I no longer purchase.
Perhaps, the "overall Q experience" is lacking, however I still have a few favorite Vendors & products that are not available in a "brick & mortar store", which I purchase via the Q: LDO, Bob Mackie, WEN, Dr. D, JM, Hagit & a few others & I will watch their presentations, if my schedule permits.
What I stated regarding the Q, is not much different than a number of other posters, who watch & shop, - the Hosts (enough has been said about them or perhaps too much), the Vendors/products have changed - lacks quality and costs more, the s/h expense to "try" a product, the programs are repetitive and boring - no, not much different from other posters views who still watch and shop the Q.
makena, I realize that you were "curious" as to why I would shop here ... if you were to re-read my post you will notice that I stated: "I purchase from the Q, products that I'm unable to purchase in a B&M store, on-line w/free S/H, or a good deal."
This is one of the reasons I rarely post - having to clarify, defend and/or explain my post.

@mzlg Keep posting away😊 Stop defending and explaining. They don't get it and never will.

@Zefra, Thank you ... I just usually read the posts and give out a lot of

@mzlg Don't even try to defend yourself, it is a losing battle. Keep posting what you feel and don't worry about the naysayers.![]()

I believe one thing we all have to keep in mind is that what we like about a company may not be what others like or want.
I've also been a long-time Q customer, but what I bought 15 or 20 years ago is not at all what I buy nowadays - nor would I be buying what I bought then no matter what QVC did to entice me, no matter which host presented it, etc.
Apparently, I've been a lucky customer - everything I've ordered for a very long time now has come prior to its promised date and days earlier than it did in the 1990's. My experiences with CS have all been polite, cordial, and useful. And I still have items on AD which sell for much more elsewhere.

The OP said she buys what she can't find elsewhere so that makes sense to me. The OP is entitled to her opinion, just as are you.
I don't buy like I used to either. I also rarely watch. I watched off and on on the August 2015 gold day and some on the January 2017 gold day. Otherwise, I haven't watched in almost 2 years. However, I do check the online schedule and peruse new items that are of interest to me. I have purchased 5 items in the last 2 years.
Why?
1) Most of us could recite the spheels for the products they offer. They offer the same dozen products, or variations thereof, week after week after week. There are only so many computers, mattresses, vacuums, tablets, phones, purses, mixers, blenders, pans, etc that a human being wants or needs. Their gold jewelry, gemstone, and holiday shows haven't changed in a dozen years. Too many of their clothing lines are ugly colors/prints. I'm 63, don't want to look like a 20 or 40 yr old, but I hate the gawdy prints, polyester (aka plastic heat bags), and stereotypical-old lady styles.
2) Quality has gone dooooowwwwnhill.
3) I can almost always find the same item elsewhere for less money and free (faster) shipping. Even returns to most other retailers are free or cost less than Q.
But like a moth drawn to light, some of us still remember the good, old Q and hope they return to the quality and variety of products they used to sell.
