Hi Spurt - our computer was out of commission for several weeks and I

missed seeing your weekend program previews.  Glad to finally be reconnected with the world again!  The pictures this week were especially cute.   Thanks for all your time and effort to entertain us.

I've been watching some of the shows on HSN and actually made my first purchase - a portable exercise bike.  There was flex pay, free shipping

and as a first time customer, I got 10% percent off!  It arrived a day sooner than they predicted - the UPS driver even put it in the garage for me.

Am quite pleased with experience at HSN.   Watched Skechers TSV last night, but Go Walks are my favorite.  Also watched some of QF - Angel looks great, but nothing I had to have. After watching other shopping channels, the Q's clothing prices seem so high by comparison.

Have a great weekend, Sue.

@stevieb reduce the size and increase the price! what a deal that is.

I know... wasn't that thoughtful of them...?

But Gina, it's on six Easy Pays, as though that makes up for gouging the price...  The sad part is that it'll sell out...

Re: Q DID WHAT? WEEKEND PREVIEW-DOG DAYS OF SUMMER!

Hello, Spurt:  I am also glad you persevered and finally got around QVC's new rules.  However, considering how long you have been sending out these cute posts, I cannot imagine why they should suddenly get all huffy about some of your comments.  As always, I really liked your cute photos - well, all except ONE.  I cannot help wondering just what the Logo person is wearing around her neck - I sincerely hope the poor thing is a fake (even then, why is she wearing it anyway?).  Anyway, I am glad to see you back, Spurt, and thanks for your super smile of the week.

Hi Spurt! Thank you for the warnings about Sleep Number (sooooo boring!) & Vionic (again??). Loved the dog in the curly wig-so funny LOL. Sorry to hear of your posting troubles, do you think yu might be slowly being squeezed off this board? :-)

Did your Spurs win the summer league championship? I didnt even know there was such a thing. Saw your little dig at Mark Cuban's free agent travails LOL, Karma is a b....  (just to be clear, I am talking about his karma!)  Sounds like you feel about the Mavs like I feel about the SF Giants. Any year the Oakland A's win one more game than the Giants is a good year. Sadly, this probably won't be one of those years, the A's are just awful!

As you c an imagine, August in AZ is fairly miserable but the Farmer's Almanac says September & October will be cooler than normal. I hope it is right! Take care, hope you are fully recovered from your wasp troubles!

@mewsmomtoo  Hey MEWS!!! How are you?.....I don't know how you folks in AZ handle the heat.....and I don' buy the old, "but it's a dry heat"....heat is heat and the only difference is instead of a sauna, dry heat feels like an oven!!! I hope the Farmer's Almanac is right and you have a cooler than normal Sept & Oct (The Farmer's Almanac usually is better than all the meterologist and their fancy technology).

Glad I was able to give you the alerts about Logo, Vionic, and Sleep Number Smiley Wink

As far as QVC---not just me but others have had problems with longer posts, and problems in posting threads in general, in fact, there is even a thread in the Suggestion Box with some tips & tricks....Oh if I had ONLY read it earlier....LOL!!!  And someone in the HOME part of the forum had a problem with that looping business......Sometimes I think it's not the Q but Firefox acting up, which it does from time to time---it can be glitchy.  And I don't know enough about Q's website to know if they have any java programs and Chrome no longer supports Java....and I do not like IE and I don't plan to upgrade to Windows 10 and the new Edge Browser at this point.  Don't ya just love technology Smiley LOL But now that I have learned some tips it should make it easier, in fact there are a couple of good options with the new format that actually helps me out a bit. Smiley Happy

I don't know if you heard, but the Spurs were the first NBA team to hire a female assistant coach, Becky Hammon, and they gave Becky the job of running the Spurs Summer League team where developmental players, and NBA hopefuls, and last year's rookies get more playing time .....and yes THE SPURS WON THE SUMMER LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!  Smiley Happy Smiley Happy Smiley Happy

As for the Mavs....well they do play in Dallas (as a Redskin fan, a city I'm not overally fond of) and Mark Cuban said some mean things about our city....and he always whines so when his Mavs don't get the Ref's calls.....so that puts him in my dog house...LOL!!!

Sorry about your A's......

My wasp bite has healed up---thanks for asking...

Take Care and STAY COOL!!!! ..

Wanted to mention, though, some unusually cute pictures this week.

Sorry though, nothing to even remotely tempt me to watch this dreadful array...

You will, though, be thrilled to learn that the OMQ will be introducing a new, smaller Logo Lock in suede, just in time for fall... though they're charging more for it than for the larger, version...  It seems they want three hundred dollars for the bag, despite its smaller size, AND another eleven to ship it., also despite its smaller size... Though this might have been a somewhat interesting offering, I'm afraid at that price point, their SHIPPING CHARGES HAVE ONCE AGAIN PROVEN TO BE A DEAL-BREAKER for moi, so no, not planning to watch a single minute.

@stevieb  Hey STEVIE -----Oh that doggone Q programming...LOL!!!

OMG!!!!  I'm just AMAZED and DAZED at all the "creativity" .....so a small Logo with a BIG price tag, and high shipping!!! WOW I know I will be filling up that gift wing....BTW do you know that they will make GREAT Teacher's gifts Smiley Wink

Those animals advertising HairMax could also use WEN to keep the style in shape.

It's not quite as hot here as other parts of the country (although it has been humid), but I'm not in any mood to look at sweaters and fall fashions right now. At least wait until September.

Counting down: two weeks from this Sunday is the first preseson game. I think the HOF game is a few days before that. Looking forward to it. SPURT, wonder if "Capital punishment", the name coined by Jason Hatcher descriibng the Washington defense, will live up to its name. I think it's good that the team is coming together like that.

@teganslaw.....  HI TEGAN!!!!!  Glad the heat stayed away from your part of the country.......

Oh I just can't wait for the NFL.......even if it is a preseason game....it's FOOTBALL!!! YEAH!!!  Oh the Redskins have had various nicknames for the defense--- I remember the NATIONAL DEFENSE in the 90's.....and how about the originator of the new name, Terrance Knighton aka POT ROAST.....makes me hungry....maybe I will have to have pot roast for my Sunday dinner every Sunday during the NFL season...LOL!!!!

The Redskins did make some good moves in free agency, and I am happy with the draft....so we should be SLIGHTLY better than last year, but still have a long ways to go before we can even talk about the playoffs.....SIGH!!!

You're lucky----you have Andrew Luck as your QB and a good team....GOOD LUCK toyour COLTS .......

Take Care.....
