Love kitties, love YOUR kitties, and - as a former San Antonio resident - I wish Bella had been there when we lived there! Smiley LOL

@beach-mom  Hi BEACHMOM---Greetings to a former San Antonian resident. Glad you like the kitty photos.Cat Very Happy... I've lived in San Antonio since I was 8, and I never knew there have been numerous Alamo Cats---as many times as we've taken relatives and out of state friends to the site, never saw any of the Alamo cats and never knew about them.......

Bella's predecessor was named C.C. (Clara Carmack) was her offical name and she served her duty at the Alamo for 18 years and passed away last July.    Before CC there was Ruby (who was adopted by the Alamo Rangers in the 1980's), but they said CC was the one that really popularized the Alamo Cat tradition, and even appeared on Animal Planet.

Take Care

All right Spurticus... what the heck do you mean asking what happened in the CWS... ?  I don't like professional basketball either, but I know who won the championship, for heaven's sake...  But just in case you really don't know, and for the benefit of others who hadn't heard...  We have a new national champion, whose saga makes Cinderella's glass slipper pale by comparsion...

Why yes, Virginia....  Happy, happy, happy to report that the Virginia Cavaliers played tough and won it all !!!!!

Now, as for the weekend line-up, well, what can I say, nothing new there...  It stinks...  Also not new is that I won't be watching...  Not sure, though, it's much worse than what has apparently been a fake diamond marathon going on for what seems like most of the day, today, much of it featuring you-know-who...  Needless to say, it was so NOT must see TV...

As always, some very cute pictures...

@stevieb   Hey STEVIE--- WOW!!!! I really didn't know....Forgive me, haven't watched ESPN or Fox Sports on cable the last couple of days. And if you think this website is messed up you should see what ESPN did to there's a few months back so I don't go there as often as I used to, just a couple of NFL sites.......I haven't even watched the sports on the local news the last few days.  So forgive me for not knowing the results....I do extend my heartfelt CONGRATULATIONS to you and your VIRGINIA CAVALIERS!!! Smiley HappySmiley HappySmiley Happy WOW WOW WOW!!!!

Not into the fake diamond marathon on QVC either......nor the weekend lineup....the only show of interest for me is Or Paz jewelry....but a marathon of beauty products and mattresses is not a way I chose to spend my weekend either.....Oh but do I hear the sound of some jingle bells coming soon......Smiley Wink......LOL!!!

And to top it off unbeknown to me....my DS informed me that she signed both of us up for a Fitnessthon at a park on Saturday......there are various activities planned, and she knows how much I love to walk, and a walk is one of the events planned....so she will pick me up at 7:30 AM!!!........ ARRGGHHH!!!  Oh what fun.....So much for sleeping in.....And she was thrilled to find out that they will have one of those hamster ball thing-a-majigs as seen on Jimmmy Fallon and she can't wait to try it....I told her it would be hotter than heck inside that thing and good luck with that!! Cat Tongue...hopefully it will rain and cancel the event...LOL!

I hope your weekend is a fun and entertaining one......

I'm thinking the Q is in cahoots with the weather people, because their programming is as dismal as our forcast - which is rain, rain, rain!  I only see 2 shows that I would watch, Or Paz, and AM Style - which is usually sleep though at least half of!

However I would consider buying one of their mattresses if it came with this guy as the free "sheep."  Love him!

Do you think we need to call PETA about the "catbreading?"   Cat LOL

Hi Spurt. That is Peanut when she was 3 months old. She has since grown into her ears, lol. She's 3 now and still full of personality.

Rebecca here...  and at the risk of sounding less than positive... I do believe I'd have to slap DS into Wednesday...

And yes, I've seen ESPN's website...  Does it occur to all these entities that if they have to so badly compromise their websites to make them capatible with all these devices... that maybe they ought to have mirror sites so the rest of us can actually use them...?

Dreary, rainy, nasty day here, (oh but gosh, it's a perfect dreary, nasty, rainy day, by golly...) so while I might get out and about later (big maybe) right now seems a perfect time to curl back up for a bit...  Perhaps with a book, but certainly not with QVC's usual weekend debacle... Sometimes I can't believe they still have customers...

Thanks for another entertaining and funny Program Guide, unlike the Q's offerings. I think I'll "spoil myself" today by NOT watching, lol. The only programming I'll probably watch is Or Paz-- at least they usually bring some new, interesting items to the table, unlike everything else being offered up this weekend... Enjoy yours!

@SHIRAZ  Hi SHIRAZ  I do think it's a well thought of consipiracy......QVC checks the weather reports and when it's rainy and dismal they feel they've got you trapped to watch their endless lineup of beauty and mattresses Cat LOL....but I guess they forgot that people still have other options than the Q---other channels, movies, reading, computer games, cooking/baking.......house cleaning...what am I saying on that last one!!! Cat Very Happy....

If QVC wants to sell things they need to utlize animals in their sales strategy Cat LOL I do have a place in my heart for shepherds, a friend of mine had a Shepherd named Riley---sweetest dog, he was terrified of thunderstorms and would hide under the  kitchen table and shake---poor baby.
