Sorry @Spurt,  but despite your attractive and appealing advertising,  I've broken the QVC week-end habit.   Also will not touch the "on"  button Friday for the dreaded Wen day, and don't often tune in during the week either.   I wonder if TPTB are aware that poor programing results in a change in viewing habits that may be permanent?

@Kachina624 Me too ("broken the QVC weekend habit") in fact I broke it a long time ago. After nothing but Dyson, Vitamix, mattresses, computers and much more I don't need or want, I gave up. And no, I don't think QVC is there to entertain me. I do still check schedule and ODO's online but I seldom watch at all. What their lineup and constant repeat of products has done is caused me to look to other shopping channels and research their products and offers!  That's a good thing for me but surely NEVER for a company that I have spent lots of money with in years GONE BY!

@Spurt Love the pet photos as always - especially the cats!

@Spurt Rinna's I dream of Jeannie's pants!  Holy hat NOW I know why they seemed so "familiar".  Priceless!

I tune in to AM style for a few minutes on Saturday as I was pulling stuff together for cookie fest (which was a great success - although a batch of gingerbread cookies didn't get made - and you'd have thought we'd committed a terrible crime the way the man of house carried on - apparently chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin and sugar cookies - double batches all - were NOT enough.)

We had fun so that's what matters.  Today I made a batch of cupcakes which were supposed to go to an office party later this week - which would have been fine other than I tried to put them into the carrier while talking on the phone and managed to upend the ENTIRE container onto the floor!  I said a few choice words as I did that but well I have no one to blame but myself, so unfortunately those cupcakes are now trash.  No matter how often I wash the floor, the 8 little cat feet that live with me have made the 5 second rule no longer applicable. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to make another batch or just buy a cake to take!  I'm highly annoyed with myself.

Hey SPURT, woohoo, the Pantone color of the year is green!  So, I am clearly in vogue again this year, even though it is more of a spring green.

So since you've painted your barn green don't forget new coordinating outfits for your pups, barn kitties, and horses....they must be "on trend" ya know....Woman Wink

BTW did you hear a certain "shampooer" settled out of court suits regarding his product....and what was most curious it became QVC's TSV that same Friday of the same week the settlement was announced....things that make you go WHAT with the Q ............

@GinaV24

AM Style is about all I can stomach these days....and even then I can't even stay tuned for the entire show......between the clothing styles (Jeannie pants) and seeing the skinny tees AGAIN and mostly BEAUTY products......ZZZZZZZZZ

It sounds like you made a nice variety of cookies, even without the gingerbread cookies....Next time if your man is not happy with them you can send them to me......(and I'll take credit and pass them off as my own citing all the hours I spent over a hot oven preparing them---LOL)

Sorry to hear about the cupcake mishap.....and yes no 5 second rule if you have cats....although you can try to claim cat hair as a special garnish since it seems to fly everywhere no matter how spotless our homes are---comes with the territory of being a cat mom......Cat LOL  Anyway, hope the rest of your week goes better.....

Saturday I went to a Christmas party since our outdoor activities had to be canceled we held a party indoors due to the weather.....but we had fun at the party....good friends, good food, and we had a great time playing games---Cranium and a game called Name Five... a lot of fun!!!  Sunday I just watched football and relaxed...and my team even won!! Woman Very Happy

Purr-fection as usual. This was my favorite so far! Here's one for you. 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄IMG_2179.JPG

What an adorable picture......I think the theme song for cats should be an old Elvis Presley song....."you look like an angel, you walk like an angel....but your a devil in disguise, oh yes you are...."....Kitties can get into so much mischief, but that's what makes them fun.....Cat LOL

You are so right. Gals, start shopping on HSN or go back there. This channel has become a breath of fresh air and fun!

Daisy Fuentes I fashions are wonderful! Logo has had its day, also SG, Denim and co, should I go on???

@Barb114

HSN at least offers their customers real sales and special promotions and better shipping deals too, and most of their hosts are less frantic and a bit more professional---which IS as you said a breath of fresh air!!....but they are a bit too stuck on electronics and beauty.....

 Yes, the "pumpkin patch pickin" and the MUST HAVE appropriate outfit (and don't forget the matching handbag) is a QVC classic---to me fall hasn't truly arrived until I hear the QVC hosts say those "magic words"---LOL!!!

I think instead of what "events" you can wear outfits to---it would be more informative if they explained what goes with what as far as complimentary colors, textures of fabric that go together and why something was chosen to put the outfit together rather than hearing about the PTA, Christmas Party, date night, lunch with friends, and of course the infamous pumpkin patch etc etc......

In all seriousness folks, my HG at this point would be the return of the useful tape measure and ruler, in addition to care instructions & better descriptions of said item's "fabrication".

Its not rocket science (or is it Woman Wink)

@deedledeedeedle

Just imagine product info that really matters like measurements.....rather than a trip down the pumpkin patch....The only 2 hosts I've seen that use a ruler lately are Antonella and Mary Beth, unfortunately, that is with jewelry rather than clothing....and could someone PLEASE tell QVC to put ACCURATE measurements on the "click here" on the online descriptions which would help with sizing which is always inconsistent....

And QVC doesn't even have to be a rocket scientist, even a bunson burner washer could figure this out with some common sense!
