@Spurt thank you for Mike George's name.  As @stevieb said, I'm sure that whatever I say will be of little interest to QVC but I figure I may as well send a letter anyway to put it out there.

since the programming is so boring and repetitious, there's not a real urge to buy anyway so as I said previously, I'll vote with my wallet & my remote.  Other than watching SOME of am style on Saturday, that was it for the weekend for me.

Tonight is Fashion whatever it is - since I don't care for the new lineup, other than IM's show but not with the regular host, I see there is a yoga class tonight so I'll go do that instead.  Far more beneficial to my health!

thanks so much for your help..

So true Gina...  I used to watch IM when PMS was the lead-in but I almost never watch on Monday nights anymore.  I tuned in tonight for want of anything better to do.  It was a few minutes early, so the end of LG and Amy was on.  I couldn't bear it for even ten minutes.  Turned it off and then tuned back in once Issac started, only to have SK and Issac do the talking over each other nerve wracking number...  Oh well, sometimes I used to enjoy it despite that, but tonight is not one of those times... Like others, I've about had my fill of Shawn.  Who knows, maybe I'll try it again one fine day, you know, in the distant future...

I hope you're feeling better soon, SPURT.  Like others have said, I was also a little worried when I couldn't find (still can't navigate this board very well anyway) a weekend update from you.  I was afraid you had gotten outta Dodge, never to return.

@stevieb I had a really good workout at yoga, so I didn't feel like I missed a thing by not seeing the show.  I got home to see the last 10 min of IM's show but I was only watching as I got ready for bed and playing with the cats.  Turned on the news rather than PM style.

It is good for my bank balance for Q to discourage me from shopping!  LOL  I am so not using those stupid emoticons.

SPURT, I'm so glad to have found your Thread !

So sorry to hear about the nasty wasp and the aftermath...I was bitten by a tick (20 years ago) and didn't know it. Our manx cat came in the house while I was roasting a Leg of Lamb for our Easter dinner. She went into my bedroom and took a nap on my bed. Apparently she had a tick fall off of her, and it bit me when I was sleeping. It wasn't attached and I just thought that I was bitten by a mosquito. Long story short - 13 days later I ended up in the ER (I was semi-delirious). A STAT blood test came back with a diagnosis of Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. YIKES ! Doxycycline took care of it...however, my kidneys got a horrid workout for 10 days (and I couldn't eat cheese because the med, combined with dairy, would give me wicked gas)... OY

Welcome back, and I hope you'll be posting our Favorite Topic come this weekend !!
