You definitely must have a new team of people that are approving product reviews. Apparently someone hasn't explained to them that these "published reviews" are actually for people who have purchased the product and received it....the key is "received" it.

Take for example the sample reviews for the TSV shoes, someone doesn't like the looks, they look like old man shoes, someone is giving praise to the brand, this is not what I want to read.

I want to read that this person bought this shoe, placed it on her foot, formed an opinion as far as the color, size, material, sole, price, etc. If by chance you didn't presell a product, please don't publish anything, there is nothing to publish nor is there anything to review.

Just because I might of bought a pair of Sketchers doesn't mean that they are like the shoe you are selling or the fabric is the same or anything like that. To me, if someone doesn't have them in their hands then a review shouldn't be given.

Of course, all subject to my opinion.

I only review items that I have purchased. I like that QVC has reviews. I always post a review when I purchase. I am very careful about postings.

OP, I agree! I have read many "reviews" where the person wrote that they 'would have bought it', goes on and on about WHY they didn't buy it, makes suggestions about what they would buy... and gives the product 1 star (without purchasing it!)

I read one the other day that got a 0 out of 94 for "helpfulness". {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}
