I just noticed that I no longer receive the program guide when I get an order in the mail. I guess QVC has to make cuts like everyone else, but I did enjoy having the quick reference without having to bring up the online guide that takes forever to navigate thru.
I started shopping at QVC in 2005 and have noticed a lot of changes. The drawn out presentations, high presure sales tactics and the lack of variety in the products to name a few. The one area that has been the biggest disapointment is the decline in the kitchen programing. I was a big fan of In the Kitchen with Bob, he seemed to be a chef who was knowledgeable and excited about cooking and kitchen gadgets. Since he has left the decline in the quality of kitchen products and introducing new products to the consumer has fallen tremendously. I want someone who is passonate about the art of cooking to be added to the lineup.
Meridith(Blue Jean Chef) was in charge of technique before Bob left. Technique used to have an excellent selection of stainless and non-stick cookware and bakeware, along with a huge selection of high quality knives, now it has been reduced to hard anodized sets, with hardly any open stock to augment a kitchen needing only a few new pieces.
I would like a more innovative approach to the Kitchen shows. I'm tired of seeing the same products week after week.
