@tynabean - You don't say how long you've had the sweater but, personally, I'd keep checking up to the 30-day price difference guarantee.

That way, if one appears back in stock in the size and color you ordered, you can contact them immediately and request the price difference refund.

They've become more and more restrictive with this type of thing and I think it's beyond ridiculous.  Also, as some have pointed out, you talk to one CS rep who says "no" and another says "okay".  It shouldn't be like that.

A $20 difference?  Keep trying!

Some retailers do not honor price reductions at all, others offer them without hesitation, most seem to fall in between the two. I have one that actually just sent me an email of a price reduction that was processed without my knowledge. I was shocked!

Re: Pricing Policy

I ordered a sweater that went on sale the very next day for $20 less. When I asked for a price adjustment, I was told sorry but you don’t qualify because of the size you ordered. Apparently it was the last one in stock in that size and color. Really QVC? I thought you were size inclusive! Why should it matter if I took the last one or the 99th one out of your inventory? This is a discriminatory policy and is just a desperate excuse to act like you have a price adjustment policy when really you just have excuses not to honor it. This has never been an issue with any other retailer, and I’ve dealt with many.

Actually @tynabean

You misunderstood what you were told...it isn't BECAUSE of the size you ordered.  It is because the size or color you ordered is no longer available.

Chicos had/has the exact same policy.  If my size or color is no longer available...NO sale credit.

(haven't shopped there in a while, but it happened to me all the time)

Back in the stone age, Spiegel Together Catalog also had the same policy.

I agree, don't like it...but it is NOT discriminatory by any means.  Retailers can set their policies.  If we shop there, we are bound by them.

@tynabean 🌸

Yeah sorry… what I told you (like others here) is correct then.

You must not have been clearly told by CS Rep that because your size was sold out You can’t get a price adjustment. 🥴

Ie. On FREE SHIPPING Day I bought a LOGO Tshirt on sale for $32.98 reg $36 and just this morning I see it went down another $4 in price.

Now LOGO is MAJOR popular, especially when marked down so I called at 7am before other LOGO fans to get the price adjustment, because I KNOW my size XXS and color Phantom WILL SELL OUT ASAP !! 😂

If I waited till later and it SOLD OUT I would not be able to get the price adjustment. Only fair!

Hope that makes sense to you… 🤗

Here’s how I view it. I’m a good customer, hardly ever return, hardly ever ask for anything. The item hadn’t even shipped and the price difference was $20. I could have easily ordered the S, so then I would have gotten the price adjustment. Because XS is a slightly better fit, I’m out of luck! I see that as being unfair to me because of my size. The intent of price adjustment is clear. The item wasn’t sold out when I ordered it and it was marked down only hours later. To me, it’s about integrity.

I get it…@tynabean 🤗

Been there done that. I don’t get all my price adjustments either.

Think of it this way. At least you got the item you wanted before it sold out. Some weren’t as lucky.
