I buy fewer clothes now and try for the best fit and quality possible so I get my money’s worth. D&C tops at $40-45 with taxes and shipping is high for a “bargin” house brand.

I only shop on line. I can't walk around a brick and mortar store.
I guess QVC must be doing well if they can afford to buy HSN and expand their business.

I cannot believe the prices of Graver and Logo!!!!!! I cannot justify paying $60. - , $80 for tops!!!!!!! i just cannot do it. Logo has gotten prettier I will even admit. She seems to be less clown-like in her designs. HOWEVER!!!!! the prices are ridiculous!!
I would suggestpeople check e-bay!!! I got an itme selling on hsn for $84, I paid $24. Brand new unopened box.
I did purchase the TSV today. I can see paying $60 for a good product that if youdo the mnath is nomoremonmeythan the best products atthe local Big Box pharmacy store. i do nothave to brand name anything. I just got wise to checking on other sights.
I realize the clothes are ina different categary, but aren't they trying to target the middle even lower income people. These prices are for LA land (ie lala land!!).

The main things I buy from QVC are SG, LOGO and Atttudes.
In the past - I'd buy something in two colors ... now I just buy one and actually save money!

Thanks though for validating me, it is nice to know there are still some people who like to see both sides of every situation!
@CareBears @Spurt It IS curious and rather glaring to encounter those on these boards who seem to think QVC can do no wrong and we are somehow wrong to suggest otherwise. I've often wondered what their relationship is to QVC...
I think being a Q Fan Club Member comes with rose colored glasses. All is not wine and (Cottage Farms) roses at the Q....the declining revenues and in particular declines in sales in particular vendor lines should definitely raise a concern which coincides with QVC's more realistic customer attitudes here on the Forums.
The ones that aren't being realistic are the ones that must view QVC and the hosts as part of their family and their friends....I guess that sales gimmick worked with some........It's no use trying to make them see the light... But take heart that there are a lot of people on this Forum that echo your same comments, but some do need to wake up and smell the coffee (and I dont mean Keurig)...............

@Spurt I no longer share my views on QVC, too may haters out there, that think I do not deserve an opinion on my own, I am not going to follow the QVC cheerleaders who think that qVC is perfect and does not make mistakes, and that there are more positive comments on these boards and that I am in the minority, Rose colored glasses is exactly right, they do not read the boards very thoroughly then, every day there are more and more complaints and it is the same things over and over, and has been years, QVC is never going to change!

In a brick and mortar store, I don’t go in, tell the clerks and other customers that I’m not buying there any more because I’m unhappy with the prices, the quality and the store, and then leave - or hang around the store waiting to see if someone else will do the same, or to see if I can keep people from going in.
I just move on.
I think we all have to start a gang that stands outside stores we do not wish anyone at all to patronize. Maybe a subset for stores with snooty clerks, another for stores with prices beyond our means, and at least one more for stores with poor displays.
I am still chuckling at your post!
You dont need a gang to picket stores....there's something called the internet and just google and you will see blogs and websites and tweets galore giving negative reviews and complaints....why some complaints are even on the Merchants own Facebook site......And do you know that some companies pay big bucks to obtain customer feedback on how they are doing....haven't you been asked to complete a surrvey after a retail purchase, or even a company or organization that offers a service??? QVC uses these forums and their Facebook Pages to gather customer input.......Will they make every change we suggest--absolutely NOT, but at least a few changes might actually see us making more purchases.....that will help the Q's revenues and they do need helping.....
And maybe the reason that some of us stick around is because there are a FEW vendors we still enjoy on QVC, and would like to retain QVC as a viable shopping option.....Others stick around for the conversation and friendships that have developed afterall-- there is no purchase necessary to participate on the Forum

Their revenues have been declining for several years they arent doint that great..... And it wasn't Qvc that bought HSN...it with QVC's Parent Company, LIBERTY INTERACTIVE that owns many companies as well as 38% of HSN, so they decided to buy the remaining 62% of shares of HSN's shares and put them both under QVC Group umbrella......

I agree with you about QVC's clothing prices....and one of the problems is they are not comparing their clothing lines realistically ..... they compare them with high-priced boutiques or high end Madison Avenue stores....Lord & Taylor, Saks, Nordstroms.....I have to laugh when I hear a host or vendor say that if you found this garment elsewhere you would have to add a one in front of the price we charge....so they think their clothing lines should be priced in the $160-$180 range, when realistically they should be comparing them with JCP, Stein Mart, and Macy's and Dillard's low end price range clothing.........And sadly I have had some White Stag clothing items from Walmart that were better quality and washed and wore better than Denim & Co...........
