I'm used to seeing "in process" when I check my recent orders. Just now I noticed "preparing your order." Has anyone else seen this? Do you think it replaces "in process," or is it just another step added?

I see the same thing on my orders. Hope it is just new wording.

Probably another step added. Sometimes my stuff ships so fast I am shocked. Or it is in Process for a week.

Processing means preparing an order. I think it's just revised terminology, that's all.

@beach-mom - Someone posted a question on this topic in the Customer Care forum, and a moderator posted this response:
Once the order has been sent to the fulfillment center for processing, the order status will update on QVC.com from “In the Process of Shipping” to “Preparing Your Order.” This change will help better determine the progress of the orders towards shipment.

I had 2 orders that were showing preparing my order. One switched to in process today. Funny thing is I noticed I have the option to cancel it? So for some odd reason it took my order backwards.

I ordered 2 pairs CLARK SLIPPERS OCT 20TH AND ON THE NEXT DAY I WANTED TO CANCEL AS MY GREAT DAUGHTER'S DIDN'T WANT. THEY SAID ORDER WAS PREPARING. NOT THE TRUTH!! I RECEIVED OCT26 AND THE 2ND IS STILL IN PREPARING TODAY. I HAVE OTHER THINGS PENDING. I ORDERED ISSAC SWEATER RIGHT RIGHT AFTER MIDNIGHT. DECIDED TO GO IN TO CHANGE OR CANCEL. IN THE MORNING. PENDING. THEY HAVE ALREADY PUT ON MY CHARGE. CAUTION MAKE SURE OR YOU WILL BE PAYING YO RETURN. THIS IS NOT RIGHT. USE YOU COULD CHANGE YOUR COLOR OR CANCEL. I HAVE CONTACTED SYNCHRONY AND IF THIS CONTINUE I WILL ORDER AND CLOSE ACCOUNT. BEWARE BEWARE.
